OK can u at least help me in suggesting whether HID with Projector will drain battery or not?? As they were diverse views on the topic.
I tried to search every forum of cbr 150 and 250r but no where i found the correct config. Of bulb for parking lights.

You can use a 35W HID with Projector. won't put any load on the battery. The original Philips ones would cost you something like rs 5K upwards.
As for the Parking bulbs, go to any bike accessories shop and ask them. You would get them for some 100rs.

            Ride safe and have fun.

Just wanted to clear some questions about the Cbr..
There has been so much criticism about the low end tourque.. but you seem to travel in hilly areas.. Have you faced any low end performance issues..alone or with a pillion?? Or it is just overhyped.??
Does the new cbr have a pass light ??
Is the spare parts costly or difficult to find??

any one else ..who can shed light on the low torque issue??
I traveled twice in hilly areas and never felt the torque is low because usually I ride in higher rpm`s and IF u understand the bike, its easy. There should be a BOND between you and your vehicle(in general any vehicle).

And the low end torque was problem for me in sudden deceleration and getting up in speed immediately(specially in highways). ITs not overhyped. Anyway you will experience low end torque only in first gear!

The pass light mostly will not be there until there is a complete revision/

Ofcourse the spare parts should cost high. Well its difficult to get and not "find"(They don't even have allen screws)

P.S: This bike is best when ridden hard and I love doing that. Don't go for this bike if you don't like to do that!

But arent we compromising tooo much here for a 1.5L, 150cc mill.
                Compromising factors:-
                1 - Price
                2 - Switches
                3 - low end torque
                4 - Spare parts
                5 - Bad honda service

.. I am not here to criticize or trying to make the bike look bad..
but as a AAM Janta who loves the sports bike and have a VFM factor.. (money doesn't grow on tress ).

I loved this bike sooo much wen it was launched but after that
1.5L for this bike ?? is the only question that remains..
RIDE it To FEEL it !!!

I listened to my "dil ki baat" while buying this bike, and I am a happy customer.
And I agreed on all your points except #5, as I don't have any complaints against my ASC yet (11 months).

                  • Coolant leakage

                    Guys,

Since last week I am facing a coolant leakage problem. It is dripping on the top left side of gearbox. I took the bike to SVC, but the technician is not able to identify the rootcause and the leakage point. Three times I have wrote mails to honda customercare, but till now I didn't get any reply from them.

Clean the whole thing and try to find the source of leak by yourself. Once source is found its easy to solve the problem..

I had same problem. Service guy said the radiator coolant pipe was broken, and replaced it . free of cost.

I will bring it to ASC even it is bit far from here ... There is one service center near to my present location, but that technician is not trained to repair CBR ...

                            That looks too bad.
Check it yourself. Clean and Find the leak.
Change the SVC if yours has no mechanic.

Go by what your heart says, and you'll not regret.
I never regretted a single moment for the choice I made.

See, Spares and SVC is a common problem with almost all manufacturers.
You just have to sort it out. Backup stores for spares, alternative SVCs... eventually you'll find one that satisfies you.

Low end torque, again saying... its not a compromising factor., its a fun-factor... unless you don't know how to fiddle with it.

                            Switches, engine-kill switch, I agree &
pass-switch, I don't say it is missing. Try and use the dimmer as a flash.
I has been more effective than using a flash in my other bike.

Price, I buyed my bike from TN.
There was a diff of 12k on-road compared to R15.
Both have some uniqueness to each. I sat on both. My heart loved the BabyBlade.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

35W HID willn't drain your battery. HIDs coming with a seperate ballast. Do not install 8000K xenon, because the light is in bluish color which will disturb the upcoming traffic and will make them blind for a couple of seconds.

For the parking lamp, you can get a pair of LED bulbs @ 90-100 bucks.

Even a 6000k HID bothers the traffic. One must use 3800-4300k HIDs only (legally).

Also, the 8000k ones are useless in rain and fog alike.
