        • ^OT. But just to clear some doubts here.

There are 2 kinds of GPS connectivity - GPS and A-GPS(Assisted GPS)
Some phones comes with GPS and some with A-GPS.

In case of GPS phones, the device will directly talk to the GPS satellites to get the location of the device.

In case of A-GPS, the device will talk to the nearest cell phone tower which will talk to the GPS satellites to fetch the location of the device.

A-GPS is faster since the cell phone tower is more faster communicating to the satellites, however the phone device signal matters here.

So there is no 2G/3G involved in this.

However, In both cases your phones will connect to the internet to download the MAPS that needs to show you the location. If you have a software with maps pre-built then you do not need an internet connection.

It is absolutely fine. Idling of the engine is set around 1800-2000 rpm.

Do you not wait for engine to warm up in the morning and let the temp bar read atleast one bar? When you do so the RPM will drop in a matter of seconds. I am not sure what the RPM should read on a perfectly warmed up 150R though so owners do post on this!

the idle rpm is always 1800 to 1900 rpm. even though the engine is heated, it runs in this range only.

                          • Hello guys...Got the black nd white baby four days back..I hav read all the pages before buying it so thanks to all and specially neevarp for his valuable suggestions...Let me share my experiences....Initially I felt the handle was loose I have gone back to the showroom and told them they did something and the issue was gone...the handling was fantabulous I should say one of the best...braking as well as the suspension was good...but i guess I had a big flaw in my baby...sometimes the gear isn't changing when that happens I have to leave the clutch and press the clutch again and then the gear works...I'm bad in explaining hope you got that...I have told the same problem to service center people and again he did something and he told me that if the problem still remains then bring the bike for the first service then everything would be settled...But my baby is just 4 days old and still 120km on the odo...what should i do? the problem still exists...but it happens only at times...the problem exists only while downshifting specially from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 ..what should i do now? give the bike for the first service?
and one more thing yesterday I had a rough ride I revved the bike but never crossed 65 (its tough to keep the bike below 60)will it damage my cbr? at what rpm should i upshift the gears? i mean what is the max rpm at which i can upshift gears during the running time...waiting for ur reply...thanks in advance

                              Congrats for the purchase!
The gear problems will be there till first service. Drive another 200 kms and see whether its there. I had this problem even after first service but happens only in 3rd gear now. above 6k, the gear shift will be good. As for the revving, I didn't rev too much till first service. I think others will clear ur doubt.
