I need the stripes done. How much does it cost? And how much does the paddock stand cost?

The paddock stand was quoted Rs 3,600/. Due to delay in delivery i cancelled and got refund. Chromebar end & front guard will boost the appeal.

What do you guys think ?
Air Filter can last anywhere between 6-8k kms but 5k is a safe bet
Brake oil can be replaced for every 10k kms or on a yearly basis if you are very "skeptical" kind of person. In cars they get replaced at around 20-25k kms or 3 years, whichever comes first. Its not that surprising.

            Thanks..
If considering this 150R for your purchase, all I would ask you is one thing..,
"What's your style of riding?" and if by chance, the word "revv and ride" comes up in the answer, then its the Babyblade., cause, if you are not that kind of rider this bike will not amuse you and you'll hate riding it..

            As per your question,
            Good:
            Honda Engine
            DOHC 150cc motor
Closed loop PGM-Fi >> More fuel economy
            Best feedback brakes
            Riding stance
            Touring comfort

            Bad:
No pass-light and Engine kill switch
            Build quality
            Low VFM

And to be honest, I never felt the build quality to be worst and never needed a kill switch. I am now used to live with no pass-switch because I never lived with it. About that Low VFM point, my babyblade never gave me a chance to think about it. This maybe because am with little exposure to performance biking.

All that said, am coming back to that same old point. "Riding Style"... I have given my bike to my friends, brother, Dad to ride, of-course with me as pillion. And not one rode the bike without lugging and I was forced to pull them off the saddle within meters of riding (except my Dad ). You'll be forced to ride in 1st gear at 6000RPM in city-conditions because you can't ride it in 2nd gear as the speed would be excessive. This bike goes ~25kmph in first gear @~7000RPM. So, think of it.

            "It might seem expensive,
but the joy of riding at high-revs
is unparalleled and that is where
CBR150R delivers in leaps and bounds"

            TD the bike and decide.
As for the D200., the most VFM machine available and the rest, you'll get from the owners.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

As neevarp said, those r the points. To me its best for a tourer. In city under traffic conditions, the bike will be a pain to drive. U have to keep it mostly in the first two gears, but still the bike gives a decent mileage. But the engine is best for both smooth and rough riding. I gave my bike to my uncle and damn he drove the bike lugging mostly in slow speed(around140kms). He never engages first gear during speed breakers. Now im left with a rough first gear. But still the bike is good in other all gears.

When you are coming from a commuter biking or scooter riding, you have to change your riding a lot. Build quality is ok for me. Riding position is good but although you may experience wrist pain or shoulder pain initially. Another to note is the pillion driving. My dad is 85 kgs and I(60kg) never felt his weight during riding. The bike pulls his weight easily( I cant comment more than 85kgs)

First test ride and then go for the purchase.

                    Regarding ownership problems,
As far as i have seen, I don't know if it is because of a little population of the owners here, though we have considerable number of owners, 'Issues' are never reported in this thread except for a one or two. And am really proud to say this. And, yeah, even i posted something about vertical wobbling of handlebars and it got sorted out. Turned out to be high front tire pressure. Mulli and catchdebanjan here had done his 2nd service, mine is due next month, 2688 on the odo. And at facebook, a couple of 6 months of ownership and around 3 owners of 4 months old and having completed their second service too and none have reported any big problems.

And Atiq., do not post back to back... post everything you got to i na single post.

Dude every machine gets problems. So dont worry about the problems now. Keep her better for the initial 500kms and there wont be problems engine wise. If you read all the problems now, I guarantee that you wont buy it. Those wobbling are minor issues. I experienced a lot of handling problems when I kept incorrect pressures. Im new to this bike segment and Im learning a lot.

                          • I have completed 2380 kms on my bike..

Its doing fairly ok.. I am a little disappointed with the brakes..

I didnt go for oil change during second service as service center guys
                            advised to change after 3000-4000kms.

I am also getting little bit hand and shoulder pain from riding maybe
because of the heavy office backpack and a seriously heavy pillion
                            (frnd of mine)..

                            • Hello guys!

I know I am late here, but wanted to join you guys owning baby blade. I am more of a facebook user, but I was interested to be back to forum as I used to earlier.

I bought the baby CBR on April 18th, 2012. I own the deluxe version (orange) and in fact I was the first one to take it to the roads of Jaipur. I didn't had any issues till now and can compromise for a Honda any day! Just a little disappointed on the poor finish but I have some ideas and If I succeed I will let you all know.

Top speed attained 142kmph, self-tested (single rider, no pillion), And so, I know I can expect more from it.

Now I've ridden 7000kms, in these couple of months, most of the times a trip to Delhi from Jaipur, but still, I guess that's not much for 5 months. And as far as my friends are concerned owning the "Royal Enfield", we always plan a tour every month. Wish to be free from work for few days and take it for a tour, a long one this time.

I'll be posting the images very soon. Would love to be in touch with you all! Who knows if could too plan a meetup!

I'll be back here. Ride safely and take care all!
