The baby blade 'll never let us down! IMO, the babyblade can be trusted wholly and it never fails to deliver to the trust!!
Hey bro,Originally posted by krishnab4u View PostHi All, did a solo ride yesterday 19.09.2012 to Pondicherry from Tambaram (Chennai) in my CBR 150R.
No ride is small and nothing is great. All it takes is that little piece of enthusiasm and courage to do it.,
And, trust me bro., it starts like this!
Btw, am back from a one day trip in Kodaikanal hills. Lots and lotsa photography.
Riding in hills is a Dhamaka, and when it rains, its Double Dhamaka...
Soon, triplog 'll be up in my 1 day ride thread.

At Chennai petrol price of 72 rs/L (what I could find online), that gives ~35 kmpl, which is very good for a rev-happy engine used extensively on highways at high speeds. This reaffirms my belief Honda aren't exaggerating too much with their 55 kmpl mileage claims - when ridden sanely, it can surely give 40+ kmpl. Another ++ over R15 (now don't start all the arguments all over againOriginally posted by neevarp16 View PostAm not more of a mileage calculator, but I filled in petrol for 750 Rs. and completed the entire 362 kms trip.
I'm waiting for run in and then 1st service before I start riding in my usual style and check mileage.----------

Guys am Gonna Book CBR 150R....But My Mind Still cant Leave R15 V2.0.. I commute around 50km Daily and My priorities are Comfort, Mileage,Vibe Free or Rev Free Engine and Low Maintenance Costs... Is CBR !50R The Best Choice???? Am Little Worried About Honda's Service.I live is Chennai and i heard Many complaints about their Poor Service.....Is it True???? Please Help Me decide..Am Almost Settled on CBR But Still Want some Suggestion

I've rode both CBR (owned) and R15 (friend's) extensively. CBR is ahead of R15 on comfort (riding comfort+seats especially the pillion seat) and mileage (40+ when ridden sanely, unlike R15 which gives ~35) while R15 is better for cornering and handling, and is cheaper by 10k on road price. Both bikes have vibe free engines and low maintenance costs. Since you travel quite a bit, the price difference will be made up by CBR over 4-5 years, thanks to its higher mileage. Also, the compulsory services (for warranty) of Yamaha are more in number, so you end up spending 3-4k more than CBR over two years.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostGuys am Gonna Book CBR 150R....But My Mind Still cant Leave R15 V2.0.. As for service issues, you will only hear of complaints of a few, and not the thousands of other customers who are happy. Ask other xBhpians from your city for which service centres are known to be good, and go to them alone. I've already looked up a couple of good ones in Bangalore, where I stay.
Both bikes are similar in so many ways, and you won't go terribly wrong either way. To me the deciding point was comfort and seats (as opposed to handling and small price difference which are not important to me).Last edited by sumeshpremraj; 09-22-2012, 09:08 PM.----------
