6 kms., lol Man, are you serious.?? Your parents may trust you bro. But, its the life of other road users too is what at stake.
    Nywys, drive safe!
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

I don't know whats humorous in that "6 kms".

I found a white container under the seat . I dont know what it is and why it has been placed there. Any idea on this weird part?

          ITs the coolant container.

Ride responsibly in the road. The bike will make you push your adrenaline and this is the ripe age to do mistakes. You can take it as advice or safety.

          • My CBR150R has done around 250 kms, and is at home. I'll be going home for a weekend and riding it back to Bangalore on a Sunday. The question is, what's the right time to service? Before the ride, or after it?

Under normal circumstances I would service it and then ride, but I've seen many owners say already that Honda servicing is not fully reliable, and they may even screw up something that was working properly. Also the fact that there is only 250 kms on the odo, for proper run-in I have to ride at least 500-600, right? The ride is around 470 kms, so it would be ideal to service afterwards (in terms of kms covered).

The ride will be mostly in highway, so riding at high RPMs is another concern (if servicing after ride). But Honda's own manual has no RPM limit recommended, and all they say is to avoid sudden acceleration.

Better to finish the ride and then service it at B'lore. But, note that during the ride, avoid prolonged operation at constant rpm, sudden acceleration. Have some frequent stops. and others should work out good eventually.

Ask all your under 18 friend to join the xbhp and learn the awareness of biking, but ride it only with authentic license.

                @All:
Chill members he is right on his part!! This is XBHP issue!! why Xbhp don't have a birth date feild in regisration form ??
This means xbhp allows for the people to join even if they are minor!!

Birthdate feild should be mandatory and present in forms!! So that there should be forum ethics!!

Jagadesh got the chance, so he is hear and sharing his story!!

If there would have been a mandatory field and Jagdesh had done some con then we could have reported it to admin or mods. but there is nothing like that!!

                So let Jagdesh enjoy xbhp

This why we said it's clearly wrong parenting!!

Don't mind!! We are here to educate people about safe riding and right rules and Laws!!

But some boys like you come here and announce that you all are under 17 and start undesirable things here!! What's the need for you to check a TopSpeed?? Did any one asked you ?? There are many forum riders who have already noted thier best top speed!!

                it's 140+kmph...

Please we will reques you to not take advantage of parents and do such things here!! You are already riding a bike with no license under 17 and top of that you are annoucing here, you will test the top speed!!

Riding is learned with lots of experience. Top Speed, handling braking techniques judgements all comes with hard core riding experience with some real scenarios, not with some 1-3 yrs of exp.

Yes they can only laugh but we have seen people dying or getting handicapped , more over innocent people who are not in fault suffers for something they weren't repsonsible!!

Whether you have DL or not that is not important, Indian constitution thinks post 18, people get mature and take senseful deicisons in life!!
But we here as a mature members have to tell them listening or not is on there part!!

Stay home kid. Stay safe. You say your parents trust you..dont trash their trust. We dont want to put a minor under risk and know what is the topspeed of CBR 150 R here. Hope you will take in correct manner.

Appreciate our little unselfishness attempt to stop that kid. Keeping quiet would still provoke him to go for it.

Thanks, Just want him not do such things, when he has already got a bike then he won't be listening us anyways, but we can make him aware of what can happen if TopSpeed attempts goes wrong!! And i am sure he won't be having any riding gears right from good Leather jackets to knee, chin bone protectors!!

Well given advice to jagadeesh! Kid is excited about the bike which is every teen boy`s nature. But one should learn the bike properly first and more important, the rules. Then try whatever he wants. Everybody is giving advice because LIFE is important than Top speed!!

And Jagadeesh, dont give it to your friends during run-in because they might ruin the bike during run-in!
