I have another query at what rpm does 100 km/h come up? Is the gearing shorter than the r15's which dies a 100 at approx 7k rpm

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Firstly, congratulations on buying the baby blade Arjun! It is a GREAT bike to have as your first proper motorcycle and you'll enjoy your many yearsOriginally posted by arjunkumarcs View PostHey Guy's
After reading lots of review specially this thread i bought my baby fireblade last tuesday !
3.Downshifting from 6-2 wont work all the way down smoothly. It will alway's stuck at some gear.i have to release the cluth a little bit and move to downshift again! what i have to say at the sevice center ?
4. Interval for chain lubricating !?
and many miles with her for sure!
This bike is really easy to maintain, all she needs is an oil change at proper intervals and a little effort on maintaining
the chain. These open-type O-Ring chains tend to get dirty quite soon in our Indian conditions, and once it gets loose you'll start feeling like gearshifts get
rougher. An ideal chain cleaning and lubing interval is every 700-1000km, but it should be done whenever the chain looks dry or very dirty.
To answer your questions:
-- While you're still in the run-in period, the gearshifts might feel rough at times. It's perfectly normal, and it WILL get much better once you clock more kilometers
and you'll feel a big difference in engine and gearshift smoothness once your first service is completed. Try and learn to blip the throttle when you downshift each gear
and you'll find the bike responds happily! If you dont know what blipping is, it's just giving the throttle a small twist before you drop a gear.
Here's wishing you many miles and happy smiles on your CBR! Ride safe mateA good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Hello guys,
New here, first post.
Been following this thread for too long, and finally a post.
So, I have been chasing this bike for a long long time. Ever since i first saw it, my mind was made up "If ever im gonna get a bike, it is this one". But that were the old days, i was just a kid then.
But now the time has came, and i still absolutely love this bike, I have no reason why. So coming to the point, "Is it worth the deal?" and "Am I too late for the party?"
I have heard news that the new facelift version of CBR150R is gonna launch in sometime. But its taking forever, and still there is no solid word of that from the Honda stable.(Anyways I dont like the new Fireblade inspired design much). But all the minor shortcomings of the current version may be addressed in it hopefully, the switchgear, the footpegs.
SO THE QUESTION IS, IS IT WORTH WAITING FOR THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW CBR150R ? OR SHOULD I JUST RUN TO THE SHOWROOM AND GET HER RIGHT NOW?
Thanks & Regards,
Swapnil B.

It is better to wait for the revfest which is on 4th August.
If you buy the baby CBR now and at revfest if they launch uplifted version more on power and feature then your heart will be crushed.
So better wait, only 2 weeks remaining.
Better late than never.
Cheers,
Sanjay

Yes i have read almost each and every page of this thread. Im clear about this bikes performance and no doubt its awesome. I just wanted to know its worth against the facelift as there are not much changes in the performance (a little better torque maybe).
Anyways yes im gonna wait another month for things to settle down. Im gonna book the beauty near August end. Hope things go well.
Peace.
**UPDATE**
Done a little searching about he Revfest (heard it for the first time today). A fellow member in the xBhp has received his pass for the event, and he was told that there would be total 5 bikes to be launched. So fingers crossed now.
Thanks & Regards.

Re: Honda CBR 150 R
Guys please help me in choosing new bike ?? cbr 150r vs 200ns..
1.City riding.
2.Pillion comfort is MUST.so no R15
3.VFM
4.Less maintenance and must own her for atleast 5 yrs.
I doubt about Bajaj reliability and more scared after seeing recent issues of RS200 alloy wheel breakage..
I worry about cheap switch gears in CBR..Can i install engine kill in tat ??
coz i saw a video in youtube where a guy fixes engine kill in cbr..
Any new updates reg launch of new CBR150 ??
and what about Honda service care ??
200NS production stopped for a while..i heard..When Life Throws You A Curve..
Lean Into It..
Apache RTR 200 4V 2.0 ABS (2019-Forever)
Honda Activa 3G (2015-Current)
Apache RTR 160 Dual Disc (2013-2015)
