Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If it is on warranty, claim it. Or buy a new one. It seems that this tyre has become weak at this particular area due to heat.Originally posted by GauravD View PostA heAd tHat swEats Is beTter tHan oNe bLeEds.

Bhai sorry missed this out. Mine also heats up and can smell the heat too however i have been told that its due to the synth oil im running. But that could be just mine. Although mine does this if i hold about 120 for some distance around 9 or 10k rpm. Never at 5k rpm.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostHey guys facing an issue with the bike actually I don't know that is it common for NS or limited to only mine.

If you can smell the heat you may want to check for any rubber poaaibly coming into contact with the hot parts of the engine.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
No problem bhai. I am running on synthetic engine oil. Actually this heating smell problem started when the SVC guys replaced the rubber gasket ring because there was some oil leakage from the engine head. I hope this thing is not causing any damage to the engine?Originally posted by GauravD View PostBhai sorry missed this out. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Heating smell problem can be due to the actual overheating of engine, or very small quantities of oil leaking to the exhaust area and getting friedOriginally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostNo problem bhai. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
From what I make out from the picture, your tyre has worn out extra at some spots due to hard braking. Getting warranty for a tyre that has normal wear from running many K kms is also impossibleOriginally posted by GauravD View PostWhats the warranty on tyres bro ? Sorry im unaware of this. Any idea ? But if the engine is leaking oil and is gettimg fried wont it also make a fizzing sound ?Originally posted by krixna View PostHeating smell problem can be due to the actual overheating of engine, or very small quantities of oil leaking to the exhaust area and getting fried
Also bhai, what is the warranty on tyres ? Any conditions ? These are stock tyres so i contact bajaj or tvs ? I doubt it can be due to hard breaking as i dont do it.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
With the rubber gasket ring replaced i doubt it could be the oil leaking but u never know. A misalignment while setting the gasket could coz the leak. Did u inspect the engine for leakages?Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostNo problem bhai. I am running on synthetic engine oil. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Warranty on tyres depends on brands, some give on kms some for time eg 1 year 2 year. For claiming warranty you have to contact tyre dealer from where u have bought it.Originally posted by GauravD View PostWhats the warranty on tyres bro ? Sorry im unaware of this. Any idea ?
