Well you can always crank the engine without turning anything on. So just give 2-3 gentle cranks (kicks) and that would serve the purpose, as rightly mentioned by @paradoxx

    ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Forgot to mentioned, on cold starts (usually on the start after really long duration say 8 to 10 hours), press the clutch and give a gentle 1-2 cranks (without switching the ignition ON) and you would observe even you have depressed the clutch completely there is some catch (clutch is engaged little, very little). So please do this before cranking the engine 2-3 times for oil circulation.

And then at last use the ES and bring the Bull to the life

      Hi Umesh,
Your TBTS 500 looks poignant and stunning .Congrats to you . Well I am a newbie to this forum and yesterday only I visited the same dealer as I was interested in buying a TBTS 500 stone .I had a conversation with Rishi as he explained me that dealing with paint job in case of stone is a bit cumbersome, Firstly, the company doesn't gives any warranty on it. In day to day life there are ought to get scratches on the bird and again dealing with paintjob is not only costly but requires technicality too. I am a bit confused here as to go with Matt or Flickr. Also he made me see his workshop as he explained that the cost of tank for matt is around 12.5k as compared to Flickr which is around 9.5k. My needs would be commuting on the bike on per day basis and occasionally would be leaving for long rides.
Please share your thoughts about it.
      Ta,
      Abhishek

Its been a week since i have owned the tb500 stone.. I don't think its an issue to own the stone colour. Yes you will have to be careful alot but nevertheless its a brilliant colour. Besides after a year you can custom paint it in the later years atleast thats what i plan to do..

              Culprit: a nail.
To remove the rear tyre is easy but fitting it back requires patience and patience and ofcourse skillful hands.

And a few pics from IBW 2014.

250 kms done and the brakes have started making that squeaking sound. Horn doesnt work . But what is really bothering me is , whenever i switch it on i.e after the sensor sign disappears, it starts but a little rave and it feels as if its lagging in its acceleration. Makes a very annoying dying down kind of sound.. Even though i keep it on for 30 seconds on Neutral without firing it up. Any idea why..
P.s this happens everytime I start it. Even in am hours interval after engine is off.

Completed 340 kms today on my Thunderbird with the first tankful reaching reserve. Got a fuel efficiency of 22kmpl. Not that great but not that bad either I think!

Friends, I had this problem earlier but its occurred again, the brakes of my TB500, which had jammed earlier some 6 weeks back where the ASC replaced the entire rear calliper set under warranty, due to some issue with the assembly and jam inside the caliper piston,!@#$$% some terms like that was used and was assured saying its all done it should be normal . but surprise surprise !! again after 300-400kms its reoccurred again and again I got same reason saying they need to check, investigate, etc..... it should not happen, etc..... when its occurred n and I am saying that they are not agreeing, but for strange reason the brake jam gets released once the engine is allowed to cool down, may be the oil flow fixes the air bubble or whatever which supplies to rear brakes if we allow it to cool down.

but wanted to know if anyone has this brake getting jammed , especially the rear one ?? as I feel there should be more bird out there which should have this problem, it can't be just me, please share your 2 cents on the same, will surely help me in getting permanent solution. Imagine what could happen when riding at high speed n brake jams ccan't even think of that

                              cheers,

Buddy your not the only one. There are many similar cases. In my previous posts i have a shared all the details. It has happened to me 4 times, once on high speed, luckily a speedbreaker saved the day. Ofcourse the bike skidded because of the rear wheel getting jammed and the tank got a dent. After several complaints and 2 months in waiting got a confirmation that the rear disc unit is being shipped. Want a tank replacement also.
I feel the fault lies with brake pedal. There is some adjustable srcew down, which I haven't seen, which keeps the exact freeplay of the pedal.
