hmm ok. Btw, me too not sure about LML freedom's sprocket fitment.Originally posted by prajwalkashyap View PostThe rear sprocket of the FZ16 has 6 mount holes compared to Unicorn's 4. Therefore, that would not be suitable.
I am not sure of LML Freedom's sprocket though. Need to check that.

Another thing you can do is change front 15T sprocket to 16T (of any RX series) instead of changing rear sprocket, as all front sprockets have 2 fitment holes & front sprockets are cheaper

Just checked out that LML Rear sprocket also has 6 mount holes, so that's ruled out.Originally posted by Honda_CBF View Posthmm ok. Btw, me too not sure about LML freedom's sprocket fitment.

I think I'll go the front sprocket way itself. But I am not sure where to source a 16T from. I think the stock RX came with 15T and not 16T.

what options do i have to overgaer the r15 other than the fz rear sprocket??Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! CBR150 & the CBR250 have totally different chain specifications.Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postany help on sprockets for the cbr 250.
i believe that 150 should have lesser teeth in the rear sprocket.
any help guys.
need a teeth more in front or 1 lesser in rear.
planning for a trip so looking forward to cruise at lower rpm. single rider no pillion so a lil accleration loss is fine.

will check on the chain sproket details.. i am not trying to increase the top whack.. just trying to cruise at lower rpm's..
right now it does 100 clicks at around 6k.. adding a sprockets in front or lesser at rear to over gear it will reduce the rpm.. engine will be more relaxed for i am planning a pan india trip soon sometime."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

You can get in the P220 DTSi's (14/36) or DTS Fi's (14/37) full setup for noticeable overgearing. or the P200's setup (14/38) should overgear too.Originally posted by akshayhonda View PostHello all.

14/39 from P180 ug4 is what I have on my bike, and it has such micro overgearing that its not even noticeable. Only mathematically one can prove that it overgears.
Measure the chain difference between the 2 links of a chain with a scale. It should be either 4/8th inch (half inch) or 5/8th of an inch. Let me know here...Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postwill check on the chain sprocket details.. i am not trying to increase the top whack.. just trying to cruise at lower rpm's..

Also, measure the sprocket width without the chain on it. It should be around 6mm or more.
Also tell me the number of fitment holes on the rear sprocket. (I think there are 4 fitment holes, with nuts and bolts on it. getting my point?)---

by calculation the given link here what you calculated is correct. by this spec u will get 130km/7500rpmOriginally posted by jonahmano View PostGuys just a doubt about sprocketing. If our fz is sprocketed with Front 17 Teeth and Rear 37 Teeth then the top speed at 7500 RPM will be 130km/hr. Read somewhere, I don't know how much it is correct. Any ideas?sigpic

but bike must have the additional amount of torque to reach 7500 rpm in top gear with that kind of super extreme overgearing.Originally posted by ATHUL4R View Postby calculation the given link here what you calculated is correct. by this spec u will get 130km/7500rpm

1) i have aa doubt is ambitions chain link is less or the pitch??Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostIf you overgear, it will give better highway mileage, and sometimes city mileage too.
For your CBZ Xtreme, the company setup is 14/43 with 126 links on .428 pitch. (Please confirm this by counting the teeth on your rear sprocket it they're 43). Chain length = 63 inches.
You may try classic CBZ setup, for more acceleration, which is 14/46 with 128 links, on .428 pitch. This should fit most probably.
Or for overgearing, try going for Ambition's setup of 14/38 teeth, but the ambition chain is smaller so you might have to purchase your original CBZ Xtreme's new chain again because chain length is smaller at 58 inches.
Or try getting a 15 teeth front sprocket from Honda Unicorn, for overgearing.
Cost of each original kit (Front sprocket, rear sprocket, chain) is approx. Rs. 600-800. But since you might need a separate chain you might have to purchase 2 kits.

@ rreneav: I hope you didn't lose much acceleration. I warned you about 36 teeth sprocket earlier. Anyways good luck.
2) is it possible to add links in ambitions chain to use it in extreme. or shall i use my old chain (12k kms done) chain in my extreme by cutting some links?
3) is ambition also .428 pitch
thanks in advancesigpic
