Something more than 50+ teeth ?
I know its gonna decrease the Top-End but that will be fine for me + a bit of Petrol Efficiency too (Average), but to what extent ?

Seriously the big real sprocket looks sick and a good mod too.
Did you read the posts properly mate? Adding more teeth in rear/front can have adverse effects, low top end and pick up or vice versa. Remember, the more powerful a bike, the stronger the chain, sprocket tooths, plus it's unique to each bike with respect to its power capabilities. You can't use a R1 sprocket on a 220 expecting to COME CLOSE its top end or something like that. It just doesn't work that way. Just one or two additions in teeth makes a HUGE difference in the bike's character.

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    • Aaah.. You really enjoying my posts, Don't you ?
But com'on I never had in mind to get a big bikes sprocket because it will help to reach their top-end. (ROFL ! :P)

Just kind of bored of the basic look of 220 and more when every 3rd bike of road I see is a Pulsar / 220.

So just trying to get something different

      Well Thanks !

      • Just a simple question.

What's the BIGGEST size of Sprocket that Pulsar 220 Can handle without any load / burden on Engine ?

It really depends. I think if I remember correctly, you asked the same question in a different manner a few pages back. Honestly, it isn't just a big sprocket change, you need to consider a lot of factors too.

          Cheers!

Not pages back.. Just 2-3 posts above !

The chainset & sprocket is completely gone now.
Too much Embarrassment today when I couldn't Wheelie when there were 5 DSLR's Recording on 1080HD because we have to make a Video of some Visual Effects to show Ram Gopal Verma & some other Directors.
Somehow I managed to explain them the problem. So need to change the sprocket soon.

And I'm indeadly love with those BIG DADDY SIZE SPROCKETS !

So you do stunt for a living? That's good, if no, that's good too If you're primarily into stunting or your main purpose is stunting, stick with stock, that offers good power when you need them. But if you want more power, low end on all gears either go for bigger front or smaller rear

              Cheers!

for better low end, sacrificing top end.. One needs bigger rear sprockets or smaller front. 220 comes with 36T rear, try using karizma's 40T (that's the biggest in .520 pitch family I think) If one want 'daddy' sprockets like you see on SBK's then the only way is to go is ''custom'' made. But those sprockets will kill the bike's acceleration and top too. Bike will become tooo.. Short geared. Btw, 220 has got enough juice to wheelee in stock itself, chain-set shouldn't stop you from that. (but if the chain breaks or gets off or something.. Then that's all different story) check your clutch plates if you haven't in long time

Absolutely valid thoughts there. It's just some chains just don't with the same .520 pitch, though the same sprocket can be used for certain pitched chains, so that's a different ball game. But what bike the guy has yet to be known

                    Cheers!

                        • Can I undergear my RTR160 using 46T rear of RTR180 (160 has 13/44 setup)? If yes, will the difference in performance be noticeable?

The setup can be used as such, but you'lll have top end performance decrease, though low end improved quite good.

Okay. Thanks bro. My chain and sprocket set is due for a change. Will stay stock for now. But I'll try to get a spare 46T to fit when the right time comes.

Sure, if you do post kindly please post a photo of the old and the updated sprocket and the performance review if you happen to change them.
