Re: Problem with my new bike's handle bar alignment
Pl drop in an email to honda. They might arrange one.Originally posted by dichkaun View PostIs there any place I can get the english version of Trigger's owners manual.
The one which came with my bike is in hindi and the dealer only had a hindi copy.
the manual language I think it depends on the region where the bike is sold.. but i am not sure.
Though, as balgi said.. i received a dual language copy of the manual way back in 2007 for my dio. The recent manual ive seen for the unicorn here in hyderabad is in english for sure, i did not pay attention if it had hindi on the other half

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews
I met with a minor accident last week. An apache hit my trigger at its right (near the kicker). Since that inciden, I feel a "thud" whenever I pass over a speed breaker or a pot hole.
I tightened the saree guard and chain cover. What might the problem?
If anything serious can I approach the showroom for replacement? My bike is just 7 months old

Pls get it checked at the service center. If there is no visible damage externally, then you may have luck in getting the damaged parts if any under warranty.Originally posted by Prajwal Shyale View PostI met with a minor accident last week. It could be the chain that needs adjustment, or the mono shock damaged.. can't say without checking it.

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews
HI..
Am Pretty new at this place..
Afterr a lot of research and with some reviews from this place i booked a CB Trigger DLX model white color this week.. and got it in a span of 3-4 days..and am glad to inform all .. it has the DC light system.. like in karizma..!! i dont think that the earlier models were equipped with the system. after riding in the new Honda i found these pros and cons..
Pros:-
1. super quiet engine..
2. great new Digi console..(after using the old horse pulsar.. its a treat to eyes..)
3. Good Handling..
4. Light weight.. maybe because i ve earlier used a pulsar b4.. i felt it very very light.
5. double disk brake is a boon in Mumbai traffic.. i dint go for the combi option..
Cons:-
1. seating is a tad uncomfy.. took a TD b4 booking.. but a short TD round is diffrent then the actual riding..will have to get used to it..
2. Engine heats up pretty faster..
3. Electrical switches are of cheap quality ..(again i think Honda have task here to improvise upon..)
4. Overall assembly of the bike is lose.. maybe becoz i ve rode a pulsar 150dtsi all since last 10 yrs so i felt that way..
Am happy with the bike uptill now.. but i seriusly miss my old little beast pulsar.. nothing can replace that i think..
all other stuff like "Kitna deti hai??" and more riding experiences will surely follow after a few 100 kms..

Anish..
Does the engine heats up excessively during the initial run in period??
My new engine is heating up quite faster.. what could be probably the reason behind it??
Also.. is it ok to fit two power horns instead of the stock fitted? Will the battery support it.. or will it drain faster..

If you can feel the heat from the engine while riding its not normal. If you can feel it by putting your hand near the engine when bike is stationary then its normal. If bike heats up during run in then you're running it in wrong. And a power horn setup can be installed in fact I am running that setup on my unicorn for 3 years just choose the right wattage and correct relay. Also take care not to cut the original wiring. Hope this helps : )

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews
Hello everyone,
I am posting in the thread for the very first time. Had been keenly following all the posts on this thread as I am very much interested in going for the trigger.
Being a 5'7 guy looking for a commuter bike with combination of power and mileage (with comfortable seat for female pillion riders, also a good digital console) was leaning towards the trigger. Also plan to use it for office ride around 50-60 km every day. However, things which had put me off were the cheap plastic switches used on the bike and also the many issues with the rear suspension.
My question to you guys was that inspite of these issues should I still be going ahead for trigger, or should I also be looking at other options like the new 2014 Pulsar 150 (not really keen due to lower mileage, but the new digital console and switch gear is really appealing) and Discover 150S (doesnt have digital console
& I dont like the half fairing on 150F)?? Have been eyeing the trigger since almost 6 months but didnt have the balls to go for it due to many mixed reviews!!
Pretty much confused b'coz of this!
Is there any news on Honda coming up with an upgraded version of the trigger for which I perhaps need to wait??
Please guide me!
Thanks in advance guys!

Look dude, as it stands the trigger is a good bike since its from Honda but there are some niggles. But this exists in every bike.
The only thing putting you off should be the horrendously, business destroyingly bad after sales service of Honda. Take it from an 8 year owner of a Honda machine, don't buy this bike unless you're willing to forgo warranty and have a trusted mechanic of your own.
Try the cbz bikes from hero. They have the same level of comfort and smoothness.
