My new engine is heating up quite faster.. what could be probably the reason behind it??
During run-in, the bike engine does get excessively hot. This is due to the heavy wear inside the engine as the parts mate with each other.. Hence don't take the bike for longer continues rides without adequate rests.

      Friends, Need some help here.
Can someone take a pic of the battery removal pages of the english manual and send to me? As I had posted earlier in this thread, I have a Hindi manual. I reached out to Honda asking for an English copy (pdf) but haven't heard back since.
      TIA.

You will find the first service coupon on your owners manual. And behind that coupon (or a separate chart towards the end of the manual) will be mentioned the list of checks to be carried out (it is another story that less than 50% of those checks are actually carried out). Only labor is free.. they will charge you for engine oil and any other spares replaced(you will also be charged some amount as 'consumables' - which is just an easy way for the svc to make money).

They will by default ask you to leave the bike and collect it in the evening. you can go a day before and tell them that you will come the next day in the morning and will wait while the bike gets serviced. You need to be firm because those dimwits will try to say no. Whatever it is, at the bare minimum tell them that you want to see them change the engine oil in your presence (make sure it is from a sealed bottle)

Reviews of various svc.. don't know. But i believe it comes down to the mechanic working on it than the service center 'name'. So please take the time and watch your bike getting serviced. If the svc try's to force you to leave the bike and go despite you trying for an advance booking then shoot an email to honda. At the minimum you should be allowed to hang around in the customer lounge and watch it get serviced.

Also.. is it ok to fit two power horns instead of the stock fitted? Will the battery support it.. or will it drain faster..

it normal when using an synthetic oil from mineral oil because when using an engine oil, a protective layer of the oil will placed around the piston. And when the oil is changed from mineral to Synthetic the protective coating has to be rebuild with the current oil and when the film is placed the the bike get smoother and smoother then...........
no need to worry about that be cool B)

Go with stock buddy. Anything else will be either too restricting or too free flow. Restricted flow will make your bike underperform and free flow ones will cause fine dust to go into the chamber. Either way you bike is screwed. So stick to stock.

The Trigger is a more like "love as u drive "bike.. unlike the pulsars and the yamahaas. Which are "love at first sight".. you will gradually start loving your bike.. as and when she starts delivering for you..

                            Hi all,

I too got same problem in honda trigger, changed the rear Tyre under warranty, But i am not satisfied with that, still i feel kind of rear tyre dancing even at plain roads, There is something problem in design, Honda must resolve for future customers.

About honda service in chennai, they dot let down their honda symbol , but they tell you to ride its all common in chennai roads

Trigger is the bike should compete only in 100cc segment not in 150cc ....!!!
