    hi,

thank you for your reply, i have one more doubt in this the stock size of rear Tyre in trigger is 110/80 R17 but the Tyre you mentioned comes with the below specs:

    Rear:
    130/70 R17 : 4200 INR
    140/70 R17 : 4700 INR

    Front:
    100/80 R17 : 3400 INR
    110/70 R17 : 3800 INR

i have found this in another thread in team bhp

I am confused.... what do i do?

Well you could instead go for Pirelli which I know for a fact has the tyre size you need. Or you could try the mrf nv series or ceat milaze series tyres which are cheap with good grip but don't have the desired wet grip.
Of course you could also go for the Michelin front tyre for your rear tyre and use an mrf revz series tyre up front.

but trigger stock size is 110/80-17. is there any problem using MRF Zapper VYDE?

You can always go one size bigger without issues. In fact I myself am running a 3.50/18 size tyre on my unicorn (stock is 100/90-18 or 3.00/18 size). But make sure that the tyre is of stock specification. I.e wall size and tyre curvature (running surface) is the same. If you stock is 110/80 then your replacement should also be 110/80 or 120/80.
Other than that if the tyre suits your needs you can buy it with your eyes closed. Do check out the ceat range, their tyre compound is softer and therefore road grip is better.

Trying to adjust the focus of headlight. It break the plastic fixing of the focus nut. Reason is rust in the nut and bolt. So I disassembled the headlight and found rust in all screws.
Used Araldate and an iron wire for fixing the broken plastic.Click image for larger version

If you look at the speedometer it shows Avg. Oil change, Mile and 'e' what does it indicate? Is there anyway to display them?

Do these hidden functions work? I mean the "oil change", the "e" for whatever it is and the "avg". The manual has no mention of it too :-o

Find out if this console is shared between different models. Esp with mi/km option it's evident that this console can be used in multiple regions.

These features will not work on indian bikes.

Honda gives the same blueprints to equipment manufacturers but with-holds features depending on local markets and local government policies.

So according to me this console is Indonesia Spec where they are selling a version of Dazzler, Trigger and a CB150R (better trigger?) where in all three bikes are Fuel Injected Bikes (PGMFi) and have features such as real time mileage indicator (Avg), engine error warning (e) and service interval reminder (oil change).

It is impossible to make these features work on our Indian bikes because our bikes are carburetted and dont have an ECU so no way to intelligently calculate these parameters.

Reason why the same bikes which come carbed in India come FI in Indonesia is because of their stricter emission laws. Indian laws are more relaxed and two wheelers are allowed to pollute more than 4 wheelers relatively speaking - hence most of two wheeler market is still running carburetors whereas most of the 4 wheels are running on FI controlled with ECU.

Whether this is a good thing or bad thing is completely debatable as all these FI units produce less power and peak torque than their carb'd versions. However FI is so much better than carb in so many ways that I personally think that India is again on a backward footing.

Our emission laws should get stricter so that automobile companies are forced to give better technology to Indian people.

                            Hi all,

Completed 2000 KMS on the oddo this week. The Trigger's going in pretty smooth . Except that its giving back prety less milage then what I've heard and read here.. around 35-40 is what i calculated.. from reserve to reserve... with 10ltrs of petrol the bike just completed 386 KMS..
Just filled her up fully today from an almost empty tank.. (reserve ran for 68 KMS).. approx 12 ltrs of fuel.. from a trusted pump... lets see the returns this time.. experts please provide a beter solution for good mileage.. i drive at a constant speed of 55-60..with 40 KMS running daily...

Iam noticing some color coming off in the back side pastic pannels.. does anyone else have the some problem ?

My trigger is now 17000 kms covered. It is giving 58 average milage. Last time filled 3.04 liter (200/- rupees) petrol and it run 188 kilometers. You can wait till the next service and tune it for better milage.

                              • Help me to Tune My CB trigger Carburetor

                                Friends,
My bikes idle rpm is not stable, also a missing during accilartion. So i changed the chock cable and air filter. Then the problem was solved, So i am decided to tune the carburetor. Read some articles about tuning. it says to set the RPM to 3000 and tune it to get a steady rpm. But in my case the tachometer is digital, so it is difficult than an analogue meter. So i am connected my digital volt meter's (AC 200V range) one end to negative of battery and the other end to a wire coming from coil. It reads 14.0 to 15.0v in idle and 38.0v to 39.0v in 3000 RPM. Then i tuned it to get maximum Stable voltage. I am started with 20 v and tuning the fuel screw anti clock wise to increase the voltage. it increased from 20.0v to 41.7v. From that point ( fluctuating 41.7v to 41.00) voltage is decreasing. So I am set the fuel screw to were i get the maximum voltage.
Is this is the real procedure for tuning?, if not please advice me. i have an experience with my TVS victor (No tachometer) service center guys are connecting a clamp meter to spark plug wire and doing the tuning.
