Re: KTM 390 - The original Hooligan - Ownership Thread
The bikes have not been recalled per say, few owners had been called for changing the radiator fans. The new ones blow air towards the front in traffic and on to the engine when travelling at a greater speed. Also some changes to ecu for the issue with warm start. Relax, the new bikes are already equipped with those from factory.Originally posted by Arvind Sibi View Post

Re: KTM 390 - The original Hooligan - Ownership Thread
Recently did a 2800km ride to Chennai from Pune and back. Wanted to do this run from a long time to check its performance on highway on a longer run. This is what I found from the ride
Note: The average will improve by 2-3kmpl in production bike as this is a test bike which is trashed from the very first km
Pics from the ride

@MG, I was expecting you to have tried this run with a better windsheild. Maybe some other time you could get one of those MRA ones and let us know how different it feels now that you have experienced those speeds head on.Last edited by Cyrus_the_virus; 09-28-2013, 02:11 PM.

Is this true news?? Already the waiting is so long, it will get even longer now..
Have they communicated this with any of the 390 owners who have already received their deliveries??

There is nothing like that. Bikes are being called for fan tweaking but delivery are not affected in any way...Bikes will be delivered with the first Delhi lot being delivered tomorrow.Originally posted by Arvind Sibi View PostStreet racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment

Good feedback on long rides @MG, as you say the tank capacity is a serious issue to be considered. Even now they can make a change or at least make an option available for a bigger tank with a fuel capacity of 15 ltrs.

You guys are lucky *sigh* The only 390 that we have is the Test bike -_- . Correct me if i'm wrong but it seems not a single bike has been delivered here in Kerala ! I go to the showroom almost every week...n they say deliveries will start in 2 weeks ...every time...soo frustrating !
