Anyone with 2015 Duke 390, please update experience about the heating issue in general and specifically if the heat is directed away from legs now that there is a cover over fan for it.

Yes its 6th April. Booking before it will not help. One is expected to either make complete payment or complete finance before 6th. I had booked rc390 last week. I have been asked to make payment b4 6th to avail low price.

Even this will not help unless the bike is in stock. Normally price at the time of delivery will be applicable. At least that's what is mentioned in the quotation.

Is the VIN Number Format same for KTM Duke 200 as well? Should see "F" to check if it is a 2015 model or not!

I just got my 3rd paid service done today n with the regular service which includes oil change n all i also went it for the throttle body cleaning. As expected there was a lot of carbon deposit inside the throttle body which had formed a thick black layer all over the inner metal walls.I was expecting the service guys to use a carb cleaner or sumthng that is meant to clean a throttle body but instead they used the Motul chain clean as they dont have any special spray or cleaner to clean the throttle body. The Chain clean did its job as in the end all the inner metal walls were literally shining but on riding the bike back home from service instead of getting a boost in acceleration bcoz of the throttle body cleaning, I was actually experiencing snatch acceleration which was never there before. So now i have a question was the use of chain clean on the throttle body a bad decision?

Well, ride the bike out in traffic, the clutch should not be heavy as the older models.
Some other visual changes were also introduced along with the slipper clutch models, do check that also as another way to be sure, like indicators having a extra rubber beading, rear shocks shroud, front fork covering to protect from dust/dirt and so on.
You can get the full list of changes from a few pages back in this thread.

The easiest way to identify the new model, would be to take a look at the handle bar grips (should be same as the RC series) and the extra plastic protectors over the front fork.

And then decode the VIN ,refer above link... 10th character should be 'F' for the 2015 model (again i believe that only models from late Jan 2015 started receiving updates)..Best bet is to check the above two items i mentioned.

IIRC the rear monoshock plastics were introduced in Sept 2014 itself..My D200 from Oct2014 has them along with the new radiator fan unit design.
And the indicators do not have any rubber beading, but the plastic housing is redesigned to cover a wee bit extra along the circumference of the indicator.

Cause - The charging system is not working correctly. Either the RR unit or the stator coil has gone bad. The speedo showing 0 is merely KTM's way of indicating the same. The speedo itself or the speed sensor are not faulty.

Verification - The charging voltage at the battery terminals with the engine ON would be less that 13V. Expected is 13.8V. The 3 wires from the stator coil should show infinite resistance with the GND. If this is not the case, stator coil is faulty. Else, have to replace the RR unit with a known working unit and run the above voltage test to isolate the issue.

Solution - Replace stator coil or RR unit as needed.

In my case, the stator coil was damaged. The stator coil costs some 1000 bucks. I had planned to replace it myself, and went to Auto Service, BSK, Bangalore to get the parts. However, the service there bowled me over and I ended up replacing it there itself. Auto Service gets 5 star from my end.

Here is how the damaged stator coil looked like -

Good information.
My bike too had this Burnt coil issue. However, there was no Zero in speedometer.
I went to them saying that (My bike used to stutter at 4500 RPM), when I switch off the Headlamp, there is no stutter at 4500 RPM, but at 3500 RPM. Else it was at 4500 RPM.
Then they checked if the battery was charging or not. Later we found out the coil was burnt same way as in your pic.

Replaced it in warranty (replaced fuel pump also under warranty after couple of months). Since then Bike has done more than 10000 KM and has been trouble free.
