Your issue should have resolved by now if the cause is only Rain.

I think I experienced the same sound on my RC 200, when my bike first encountered heavy rain in Bangalore, it was not giving any starting trouble though. Just closely observe any spills of water from exhaust during idle. If u noticed the same tilt the bike right side as much as possible.
When I did this at least a full glass of water came out.

Just my observation, may be different in your case. Let us know if my solution works.

I have seen a few Duke's riding on the michelin 140's and they do look more bulkier.. though i haven't ridden one shod with these, but someone once told me the handling felt 'weird' after switching from the mrf's on the d200.
I will definitely stay away from this 140 michelin, and will try and get the new mrf c1's or the 150's from michelin itself for my D200.. Though sourcing these might be a pain in some cities.
The handling seems like a tall boat when we're at slow speeds.... When you steer, it just oversteers a little, like its going to fall.
But its just at slow speeds. Rest you already know from what I typed.

I would love to try out 150/60 of Michelins, but I couldn't get them.

As far as MRF C1 is concerned, I'm not convinced. A review said that C1 are just the ordinary Revz tyres, but with additional treads on the extreme edges. Bigger treads result in more wet/ sandy grip, but lesser road grip. Would you want such a tyre which gives you lesser grip while cornering?

Even otherwise I'm not sure of MRF performance, although I've had the R15's MRF tyres on my Pulsar and was quite satisfied by them, but that was a different playing field. Frankly speaking, if I had to get a MRF, I would choose the Revz over the C1.

nasirkaka : Well, that's quite a good amount of life you extracted from them. My riding conditions are:-
A very bad patch of city road filled with potholes and speed breakers for about 1-2 kms, and then, open road where I rev the hell off, upto about 80 kmph.
So, I guess my metz could've never lasted, isn't it?

I loved the rawness of older version over slipper clutch.. It gave me feel of my previously owned ninja650.. Duke 390 with slipper clutch don't have that rawness/roughness
So picked older version..

Hey thanks Joe_marvy, this seems like a good idea. Although in my case, I didn't see any water coming out this time.
I'm some 800km from the next service, maybe I should get it done in that case. I wonder if they'd sort all these things out.

Congrats man, yeah aftermarket exhausts are the coolest thing for everyone. Moreover, it give the bike a whole new personality.

I wanted to know, which website did you order it from? Apparently the Performanceracing.in page says "under construction. I wanted to a order few parts for my ride, but simple can't.
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

This is the sweet phase, like many say the honeymoon phase, the loud sound that seems really really sweet now will slowly turn to irritating, deafening sound and you will come to not stand it at all. Personal experince buddy, and witnessed too many people going through the same, a single pot motor just doesn't sound good with loud exhausts.

BTW, health advice, use earplugs. Trust me it will do only good.

All the benellis sound really really nice..!!! It doesn't sounds like its being tortured, much like the loud singles does.
More cylinders, the merrier the sound.

Hi Guys, Just got my 390 delivered on Monday. I got the 2015 model with slipper clutch. I had read that the service interval was increased to 7.5k from 5k but my service book still mentions service intervals at 5k kms. Maybe I was given an old service book, can someone who has the 2015 model confirm from their service books if their service intervals differ from the ones mentioned in mine.

Thanks in advance, Regards.

I got my 2015 model Duke 390 on Feb and in that service interval after first service (1000km) it is 8500km. So they might have given you the old service book. You should go and ask them for the new one.

I got the Michelin 150/60 on my D390 yesterday. So far the grip levels are good, & overall it's not as great as the Metzelers.
Will Update with more details once I get it through some miles.
Looks good on it though.... Looks a bit wider than the Metz. I like it
