No, not even a single bike here except for the demo bikes. I don't know why this step motherly treatment.
Hope they clear all the deliveries at once. Most of the cities are getting their 3rd lot and we haven't even seen the first, the big news is the showroom fellows are clueless.

I was just browsing for power parts of ktm and found this link for handguards: HANDSCHUTZ SET WEISS

Lookwise these are the same that Bajaj is offering with 390. Dont know if they somehow stole the design.

Folks, does anybody know how/where do I lodge a complaint against the Bundgarden Pune dealer? Is there any Bajaj complaint number or email id?

I have as many as 5 landline numbers of the dealer. Cannot connect to any of them. Seems they are doing everything they can to avoid being contacted on the phone.

2 numbers seem to be out of order since when I call them, the call timer starts immediately without any ring, and no response from the other side.
2 numbers they are not picking up the call at all.
1 number is permanently busy whenever I call.

At worst I will visit the dealer in person but their response will be the same - waiting for the next lot of bikes, we will inform you when we get yours.

I am totally fed-up with the attitude of both Bajaj, the company who doesn't bother to deliver on time, and the dealer who doesn't bother to inform anything to the customer. Level of patience and excitement of getting the bike has reduced to zero.

From the other thread, they delivered 10 bikes in Kolhapur, so shouldn't they have delivered 50 bikes in Pune ?

BAJAJ and KTM = FAIL. Sorry for the strong statement.

Get their e-mail address from their website and send them a mail. Mention your booking number and date, from which outlet you've booked the bike and the details. they should get back to you in a days time.
                      That should help
The only thing standing in your way, the ONLY thing you can count on, at any given time.. Is YOU

Man, relax! I get it that it gets very frustrating but only the dealer is to be blamed. Bajaj and ktm have nothing in this. The point that kolhapur got 10 and pune should have got 50 is lame. Here in kerala deliveries haven't even started yet.
I do agree that the deliveries have been messed up a little but it happens with even the biggest manufacturers.
Be patient and you would love what is coming your way.

My friends booking number is in 30ties & he is yet to get the bike ... Mine is in 50ties and another friend is in 60ties ... So definitely there has not been 50 deliveries from Bund Garden...

That's true.. I am also not very happy with the service of KTM Bund Garden showroom.
There seems to be lot of avoiding/ ducking going on. Took me 5+ visits in with 100s of calls to get my bike in sep end.. i had the booking from April first week with 40K paid in Advance.

Even if number of bikes' availability is less, a professionalism can be shown. I have to admit, the guy named Ganesh seems to be pretty helpful though..

As far as the issue of changing the oil before 1st service goes, it seems most of you are using Motul 30004T 15W50 for the change. I have done around 300 kms till date. Have to change the oil now. Had bought 2 litres of Motul 7100 20W50 due to the unavailability of the 10W50 with retailers. But I guess it will be best to stick to Motul 3000 15W50 as most of you have done.

Do pour in your suggestions. Motul 7100 20W50 or Motul 30004T 15W50.

Another point is that I dont get Motul here at Jamshedpur. I assume that Motul oils are rebranded as YamaLubes and sold as OEM at Yamaha A.S.S. Would it be wise to use the their 15W50 mineral as a replacement for Motul?
It is widely suggested that using mineral oil for the first few thousand kilometers helps in ensuring the engine runs in better than with the usage of FS. There are certain schools of thought as well that say that if the manufacturer says you gotta use FS, YOU GOTTA USE FS. The only recommendation we really need to pay heed to is the grade of the oil - 20W50. Personally I went with the mineral oil based on what I have read and learnt.

What does "minimum of 90 days for delivery" mean to you? If you really feel that the dealer has been unfair then please shoot an email to the manufacturer cuz that's the only way they'd know that the dealer is messing up the brand name.

Buddy... relax. The deliveries will be happening soon, so don't fret.. take a calm breath. Even if you send mail to KTMInfo, the mail is forwarded to respective KTM Showroom manager (I came to know about this a few days ago.) So, even if you send mail to KTM, you will probably not get any response. Best is to go to the showroom in person and have a heart to heart.
