  • Now the thread is really waking up...
most of the time during overboring ,and going above the 4th oversize of the piston, the bore top gasket is not made bigger to suit the bore size resulting in the extra protrusion acting like a resonator, and sometimes even hitting the piston......
hope to see more new exploits, and waiting to learn more.

        nice piece of information...
i do agree, the thread is running healthy back again.
        hows your karizma running ???

        @ vignesh

Those S#!ty chinese bulbs didn't even last a year, so got the alternator removed.
Moreover i had this problem of misfiring as the spark plug was running on the battery due to the absence of coil.
Got it removed quite a while back.

Buddy, i miss your porn-star talks , it seems you haven't been riding much after that scary highway stone incident...
Giving a lot to a fiero.

My ZMA is doing well with little tweaks...I am getting 40+ in city at 60 to 80 Kmph speeds and 45+ on highway at 110 to 120 speeds.....The NGK G power plug is giving better FE, and instant cold starts.
Gixxer seemed to be bugged by the bugs of SBKs...and put off by the poor(weak) chassis and (sagging)build quality of the current rides

Buddy one piece of advise,i haven't put the apache150 cam or their rocker arms, though i have with me a pair of rocker arms of the RTR which i had bought in 2006 and wasn't able to fit em.So make sure that they will take the apahce cam and rockers back if they don't fit.

Yeah bro,i miss the porn star Ava Rose as well,i haven't been able to find any new torrents of her's ,since she hasn't resumed "working" after she became a mom! So .....
I had gone on a 500km trip,i'll write about it.

Not just SBK's here, even the adult film industry lacks good SBK's with the chassis. So yup ,miss em a lot!

the resulting sleeve was quite thin.. But still the performance is still good even after 15k odd kms.. Its was a 62.25 mm piston...

I know a fiero running with 68.5 mm piston on stock rtr sleeve.. What you are saying is 100 % true about heat transfer.. But it has been done and running great bro..

Regarding the plug, maybe i should give the iridium plug a try.. How much wud it cost??
500 bucks i think.I had paid 450 for it back then.

              • oops..
I bought the cam as well as rocker arms today in the morning...

I don't think the dealer would take em back .
I hope it fits, because the fiero and the apache 150 has the same bore X stroke...

I thought that you guys had tried it, maybe vignesh has the same...

Well, as far as a pornstar is concerned, they are never enough...
and never as good as you expect them to be...

If you read my post on the previous page buddy,i've mentioned it there, that i wouldn't know because i haven't tried it.It's over to vignesh now.
What matters here is the similar bore sizes of the Fiero and Apache150.
1.So hoping that the valve is placed at same spots(Which i'm sure it is).

                  2. The Cam has to fit otherwise it's time you have to get it exchanged.

                  3. I have tried the RTR rockers,so i know that the rocker arm pivot shaft is the same.

                  • As far as i know, fiero and apache 150 has the same head, port and valves.. So no problem with the cam and rockers.. BTW, take a look at these pics...

                    • Nice pics vignesh...

Is this a purpose built dirt track where you practice ?

So this makes your bike not road legal... The bike seems like a kid in your hands, unlike me, who looks like a kid even on a fiero...

I would recommend you to invest on proper riding gears, full dirt gears are available from tourer gear...
I would give you the contact details if you like... the owner is a friend of mine.

I think you should try a low rise handlebar, its much safer and the front doesn't let go, even if it does, it give a lot of warning before... and please put up a padding on the handlebar's top rod, i have been over the bars once on a CR250, it really helps to have some padding to avoid chest hits...

Would love to ride here once, the place seems heaven...

Buddy,i'm waiting for information as to the rocker arms and cam are a fit or not?? I sincerely hope that it hasn't been money down the drain!I wish you had gotten more reliable info before going for em.

Bike looks to be a hard working one!

Bro.. I'm in desperate need of a complete riding gear... Shortage of vitamin M is keeping me stranded...
yes.. my bike is not street legal.. I have a TBTS to match that purpose..
Soon i'll be installing a chest padding i my fiero.. But my immediate investment on my fiero would be a 16 inch rim and tire.. 18 inch ones causes wheel spin out at tight corners and hard to control..
Dude, even my Enfield looks small when i'm on it.. Thats what everyone says.. i'm 6ft 2 and 94 kgs..

                          • The mech is out of station for 2 days, so even i don't have any update as yet...
It would be a trial and error thingy, either ways over here i don't have any other reliable source of information other than trying it out myself.

Lets wait and watch when the mech returns, i hope things pan out well.

I've been riding my friends GS 150R from some days as a replacement ride until my ride is been fixed.
Its a strange machine, the more i ride it, the more i am starting to dislike that bike...

Besides, just as a piece of information, I've bought the SOL 68sII helmet.
Tried a few rides with it, the main purpose was to buy something that fits my S sized head.
After a lot and lot of wait and search, didn't find any helmet which fits the budget and fits me well too.

After reading a lot of reviews i gave SOL a try, it took ages for the helmet to get delivered, but all the wait was worth it...
The fit is brilliant, the weight is less too, the helmet breathes wonderfully so it keeps you cool.

Its really amazing, i highly recommend it to everybody...

                              • The suspensions are tooo soft, which makes stopping and leaning too unstable.
The brakes are very bad, and the bike has a tendency to wobble heavily while breaking (not even hard breaking).
However the engine is the smoothest I've ever used, and the acceleration is amazing because of shorter gear ratios....
But one cannot enjoy all these goodies because of the brakes and suspensions.
