Mumbai - Goa roads are the toughest ones.
People who plan to go to leh on a bike, do a Mumbai - Goa once and its all the practice they need.
Even touching 90 once is a biggest feat and this guy was averaging around 100 ???
It sure is a remarkable feat...
I must agree, its seriously a wicked bike.
I guess i should come down to Bangalore and get my bike fixed once and for all from ZEN guys, it will solve all the problems and I'd have another thing to be thankful to gix about...Giving a lot to a fiero.
Expecting a lot from a fiero.

Finally my bike is all stock, was on big bores for 5 plus years, was fed up with the minor niggles here and there, so decided to get it back to stock, Rajesh[my mech] managed to source a second hand original suzuki bore that was prepared for rally, runs on a slightly higher compression, the bike is nice and peppy now, but not as free revving as the big bore, after hearing the K&N noise for all these years, feels nice to hear the original exhaust beat of the fiero. The following things are all back to stock
1) original suzuki Bore
2) original 26mm Carb
3) original swing arm
Not stock
1) Shocks uses the CBZ ones
2) CDI uses RTR's
3) Round doom headlight
Feels nice to be back to stock, the bike has done close to 1.25 lakh kms in 10+ years.

Even die-hard 2t fans, after riding this bike on a highway will have no option but to agree that it's a ripper, which doesn't even know the meaning of fatigue.Ride it like you stole it! Yes,what you've said about what that guy's achieved is true. But think of the machine which must have done over 110 actual speed most of the 11 hours it took him to get to bangalore. The thing that it bettered the two strokes in stock config itself says a lot about the bike doesn't it?Life begins, once you hit the power band !!

I was looking for a good mech to fix my bike. I have dropped it couple of times and handling is messed up , it just keeps going to the left when i take off my hands.
If you know any good SVC please suggest.site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

Then there's Rajesh/Jagadish who are connected with Mr Murthy and they have worked in ZEN TVS and Jagadish has also worked at 10Ten racing team. They have set up a garage in Girinagar called First bikes and they are very good with all bikes.I can give their # too if you want.Life begins, once you hit the power band !!

When you say you are running Slightly higher compression on stock bore, what do you mean ? my bike is having weird problems of giving 35kmpl mileage, me & gixxer have been discussion on Increasing compression to get some 3-4 kmpl more mileage.. how did you do it ? any Insights would be helpfulsigpicAll India Permit 1+1

There are many ways to increase the compression ratio.. The easiest way to do that is to use a thinner gasket..
Or else, phase the cylinder at the top or at the bottom by 0.5-1.0 mm.. Increase the valve grooves in the piston.. Else, get a dome shaped piston and plonk it in your cylinder.. Always remember, Higher compression=Increased vibration ,heat and reduced crank/con rod life..
