    Hi Kus,
Thanks for the compliment. I didn't understand what is 'gaitors' though!

Regarding parts, it depends on which parts. Mechanical/fast moving parts are available for all discontinued bikes. Some plastic parts are tough to source.
Bangalore being closer to Hosur can order easily.
My nearby SVC had a good supply but is unable to order recently due to the State bifurcation.

The T-stem I need is not the top plate holding the axle nut. It is the lower one or just T. Between the dome and the mudguard.
    Part number is posted previously.

Appreciate if you could help with procuring the T, and an engine guard.

The rubber part which you have inserted on the front forks are called gaitors, M7100690 this is the part that you need ok, i will try here in Delhi as there are no of Tvs authorised spare dealers who sells Tvs parts, is this engine guard supplied by the company or you are looking for aftermarket.

Oh! You mean the fork rubber boots. I kinda didn't like the naked metal look so I went for these Pulsar ones to make it look a bit beefier.
The engine guard plate was made by TVS earlier and is model specific. I've tried out a few after market ones but no luck yet.
There is an area here where universal OEM bike spares are available but haven't been there yet. I had one earlier but it got rusted. I should have kept it.

If you can try for the fork T and the cup, it'll be great. Here are some pics.

For a long time, hardly any action here guys. At least, discuss babes if not bikes :P

            Calling all players!

Hey man, I think you need to change your steering cone kit right? I have done it around thrice now. I'm guessing you are facing the traditional knock sound when facing bumps/potholes and braking. If you can't get the kit at all, then in last case scenario, you can remove the existing steering cone kit and regrease with the ball bearings tightly by adding an extra one. Do this for both top and bottom ones (top has small BBs and lower half has big BBs). This should make your rebound action like new as long as your forks are fine. If you have been riding for a long time with worn-off steering cone kit, the T stem will have wear and tear and the new kit will not fit tightly/snugly on it now. You can turn the stem on lathe after very minor spot weld for extra width as the kit needs a specific width or even that will sound like the old one. All this will work if you need to fix it and cannot find a new T stem for now. I have heard it is a bit expensive. Hope you can source new part or try second-hand market.
Ride it like you stole it! But buy your own helmet.

Got the RTR clutch upgrade done yesterday and another comrade of ours Shred is getting it set ritht at the same mech.He had gotten it modified and installed a while back and because of some bad modification advise by the mech,it was a bit of a botched up job.So when he came to me for sorting it out,we got our heads together for nearly 3 days along with my mech and finally found a different way of doing it.So yesterday my bike got it installed with this new modification method and i'm happy to say that it's a success.

Gixxer I had started thinking you have gone abroad and so cannot be seen in this thread.....Good to see you going along with the RTR clutch adaptation and getting it done successfully. How is your Rathi ?

Thanks for the alternatives, but I'm looking for the fork T and not the steering T.
It will be really helpful if anyone can point me to a place where I can get it.

Thank you psr,i'm still very much here.Right now the modification is still going on with regard to clutch,in the sence that, currently i have put a new RTR clutch cover and what i want to do is put the stock suzuki fiero clutch cover with the stock clutch release mechanism used for pushing instead of pulling(stock).Rathi agnihotri? She's still sitting on my desktop, phone, prettymuch everywhere and also as my mind's screensaver! I've obviously done some cosmetic surgery to make her more juicy of course!
