I saw the pic and from counting the teeth on the rear sprocket i found that it has 40 teeth instead of the 39 teeth of the fiero.So check that again if possible and let us know.
The lack of power in 2 and 3 gear you mentioned about is most likely from the carb setting ,clutch setting, tappet setting ,and not likely to be from the piston .Then the rocker arm followers and cam needs running-in too.Piston has very little affect(performance at diff revs) unless you have replaced the original with a different piston-head shape ,size or weight which affects compression and power at diff revs.Going .5 mm oversize makes very little difference other than getting the original performance which was lost.
Check and see what the plug is telling .But ,since its a running-in stage ,meaning other than in 1st gear the engine wont be in higher revs .So try and tune the carb till the plug is slightly dark in color.My advise would be to get the carb tuned by a mech.

Battery still draining

Dude battery is charging but discharging more fast than charging

. today morning I rode full speed with out any load on the battery and then in the evening I went to the battery wala to check if battery was charging & it was charging, but at a very less rate. On the multimeter it was showing 11.5-12.0V bas nothing more than that.

I think there is some problem with the headlamp wiring, that mech must have short some wires. What do you say?

I am fed up with this setup

. It was better on AC/DC setup yaar. Thinking of switching back. The question is how do I go back to the stock setup? Do I need to rewind the coil again or buy a new one

Please help yaar. I cant ride the bike in this condition.

relax.

i know its a very tricky situation.
but trust me, what you currently have is what people want terribly.

if everything is sorted well, you would love it.
i have an HID + a 55w high beam.
if i am getting great amount of battery charge, why can't you?

you have spend money on ape rr.
spend money on coil rewinding..

why don't you just get it done right?

I'll come in some weekday, you say when and trust me, EVERYTHING will be okay.

i think that floating ground itself is a problem.
you could have not done it right.

I HAVE AN EXPERIENCE with such a set-up man, + you wanted it from years..
don't think of reverting back !!
tell me which weekday can you be free.
i can come at morning itself...

if there's some problem with sorting wires, we can find it out in a flash.
just be patient.

to clarify all your doubts, let me tell you that NO one here at xbhp has ever gone back from DC conversion....

everything will work great, i assure you.

Dude, I dont understand whats going wrong here yaar.

I know you are here to help me, BUT it is frustrating when things dont go the right way you want to take them.

Yes I do want a good light spread and I also understand that there is something wrong which needs to be sorted out, But what is "THAT" i am unable to trace it. To ride a bike without horns & lights is very difficult for me, I dont know how others ride without lights

I am planning to take an off on this thursday. Will inform you once my leave is approved.

Vishal Bro ... I'm sure you will find a solution to your problem... I suppose it can get very frustrating when you are trying something new and expect it to be great for your bike, then suddenly you face a situation and it turns out exactly the opposite. Let NANOtech show you the way... I'm sure it is a minor foul up that is causing you the major head-ache. I enquired about the lights and battery boost-up and my mech was not interested so I just stuck to the old lighting setup ... and it serves me just fine... except when I am ocassionally on the highway at night (which is very rarely).

Auto Chain Tensioner

A proper tension adjustment to a chain is supposed to increase the life span of the chain as well as your sprocket gears.

I don't know if Indian bikes come with this or not... maybe purchased separately.

guyz but as far as i remember, the F2 bike is equipped with an autochain tensioner. it was written in the owners manual!!

and regarding my chain problem which i mentioned earlier, it seems to have dissapeared!!!!! on its own!!!!!!! is it a miracle?!?!?! now there is no noise at all!! now this is what i don't understand, how the noise dissapeared???

if you notice the swing arm of fiero F2.
you'll see a rubber thing on which the chain slides.
that's the upper part of the rectangular swing arm.
that is what they would have meant by auto chain tensioniser

regarding the noise, i believe your chain had been tightened too much by the mech, now its on its normal size, might be that's the reason !!
