The service center people only need to do that.

There is another way where you can disconnect battery and turn on ignition and it apparently resets the ECU. I'm not sure of this ... so you can try at your own risk.

The frame and mechanicals are good for atleast 20bhp. It does lose its breath in crosswinds, but that is because it does not have good wind deflection. I have ridden it on some of the worst roads I could find. It takes everything with a , 'Yes Sir' attitude. Panel quality needs to improve, but that's like splitting hairs. Looks good, sounds good, feels good and rides good. What more could I want? Just need more power. The frame, suspension, steering geometry, etc is all perfect and need to be left untouched. Can't stop talking about my Veeran, which is what I have named it

Brother can you post closeup picture of left side engine..i have a dout in throttle cable.recently i purchsed this bike and it have single throttle cable only.but previuos fz fi have dual cable..so can u send picture of left side engine...

I somehow feel that the issue is with the hardware, not the engine.

Can you please thoroughly clean and lube the chain and inflate the tires to correct pressure and try a top speed run.

I touch 120+ kmph everyday on the way to office ... did a max of 127 kmph so far. (Fully crouched to the tank and slight declination of road)

Recently rode my bike in rain through water logged areas in Hyderabad and now the top speed is not going beyond 121 kmph. The only restricting factor is the chain I feel as all the lube was washed away. Will be doing a thorough clean up and lubing of chain this weekend and I am sure the top speed will be restored to 125+ again.

          Happy riding

And .. I own a Fazer fi v2.0 (Not Fz v2.0) so aerodynamics is a little better but at the cost of 4 kgs extra.

And I always crouch when I try high speeds, thats my habbit / instinct.

And my Fazer fi has double throttle cable. I think Yamaha is cost cutting

I doubt if there is anything like ECU Flash. But what people generally do is Switch on the key (ignition) and disconnect the positive terminal of the battery and keep it disconnected for about 10 - 15 mins.

After that connect every thing back and everything comes to level zero. Hope that helps.

Tyre pressure you keep isn't the recommended one.

              Front : 28-29psi
              Rear : 32-33psi

There will be a sticker on the swing arm stating the recommended tyre pressure.
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Check your user manual for the correct tire pressure for your bike. I think its 32 for the rear and 28 for the front.
Remember, an over inflated tire is a bad as an under inflated tire.
An overinflated tire will make the bike jump on rough bumpy roads at high speeds, which will result in jerks, cause even on a slight bump, the tire leaves the road surface for a millisecond, there is no acceleration at that moment, then when the tire comes back in contact of the road, the bike gives a jerk as it accelerates. It can be dangerous at high speeds and the rider may lose control. Please check the user manual for the correct tire pressure and adjust accordingly.

                      Just a notice.

I am posting this because I'm trying to find people in Chennai who can actually ride during weekends for breakfast and recreation, say around 200 km radius around Chennai to start with. I own a gixxer.

My group of friends had to shift to other cities and I am in search of people who can form a group. I'm slowly recovering from a couple of ailments and I had a huge gap in between because of the same. I'll be done with my college by the end of April and so I am planning to start my riding from May or June. I wish to form a neat and professional group which has members following traffic and safety guidelines. I'd be more than happy if you guys are experienced and/ or have done tours on your bikes.

It'd be a great way to bond, learn and explore!

I'm also planning on inviting some RE, FZ, Fazer, sf and other bike riders through known contacts so that there is no scope to race or stray away from cruising - in short, bikes that can maintain comparable speeds and have similar equipment.

Interested riders please let me know through a personal message and we shall discuss it over phone soon.

                      See you guys! [:

                          Both are equally good.

I did not find any benefit of using Nitrogen in my bike.

                          2. Ideal or idle ?? If its idle then its - 1300 - 1500 RPM.
                          3. 45 kmpl is good enough for a huge 150cc. however I am getting 47 - 52 mostly
