Same problem here and I will get it checked in the third service, even though i reported it in earlier 2nd service but the SVC guy ignored it giving the new pads reason. Though i don't have any vibes related to this.

Dude you had two services and the pads are still new , Are these pads made of metal or rubber , when they will adjust ? , i think this is some real problem here and i dont know what should i do about the vibes , they are only on the left side of handlebar , nowhere else.

But, remember, do not rev with clutch lever fully pressed in 1st gear, because, u can notice with main stand that, fully applying clutch in 1st gear also rotates the rear wheel slightly... So, keep it in neutral in signal red light always.

Brother hope you are maintaining correct chain slack & free play of clutch lever.

Bro checked chain slack & free play of clutch lever its correct as of now as it was adjusted at 5th service on 5th march. but I am sure that the clutch becomes loose very quick as I have a habit of overusing the clutch, I always do clutch breaking and rarely do engine breaking. somehow I am comfortable more with clutch braking and do it almost involuntarily. I am still not very comfortable with engine braking.

Have you checked chain slack yourself ? If not please do that, because
Service centres usually have a habit of keeping the chain tighter than recommended.
                        And also maybe you could
Practice this instruction given in user manual -
While changing gears pull in clutch lever quickly & while engaging release lever a bit slowly.

sure will try it and check if anything improves.

I bought FZS fi ver 2.0 last after a lot of confusion. I am quite happy with the performance, except for the power drop - ahh !! not a big deal though... !!!!

The stock osram headlight bulbs 35/35w is not bright enough for the city traffic, as I see morons ridin with High beams in bangalore.
To overcome the numb headlights, I replaced the stock one with philips 55/60w bulb for the headlight.

Problems started with the engine trouble indicator light going in succession for few seconds.

Later, got it checked with the Yamaha service center, they advised to replace with stock bulb.
The battery on new fxs fi ver 2.0 is just 4Ah compared to 5Ah on fzs ver 1. Damn !!!

The DAMN 4ah battery on ver 2.0 can't handle 55w bulb load and the battery life was degrading day by day.

After a span of 5-6 months on 55w battery, I had to move on to the stock one due to battery problems - Engine shutting down at lower rpms in slow moving traffic.
I am still not sure act the battery condition. Need to check the terminal voltage.

I had gone through a couple of posts in this forum regarding battery upgrade... but could not find any post on fzs ver 2.0.

                            My questions are :

                            1. Can I upgrade my stock battery (4AH) to HIGHER CAPACITY ones like 5Ah or 7AH.
                            2. Would the above upgrade void warranty.
                            3. As FZS ver 2.0 is ECU based engine with FI, I suspect there should nt be any problems in the circuitry as far as the battery voltage is rated 12v ??
                            4. Also, should I need a re-winding to support higher capacity battery for charging ?
                            5. Would you guys recommend HID kits rather than 55w bulbs ? if yes Why ?

Please pour in your suggestions experts.

                            Thanks in advance.
Yes you can upgrade battery but it will not help. What can help is replacement of the tail lamp bulb with a LED one.

A 35 watt HID projector will help as it consumes lesser power than a 55/60 watts halo yet produce a lot more light output (benefits of technology).

You can also try out a direct plug and play H4 LED bulb which are available on online shopping websites.

The rewinding thing is something I will soon be attempting and will give an update of the outcome once I am done. Lets see how things work out.

Can u suggest what sort of LED bulb to fit in the tail section? How many watts? Any particular size?

Tyre pressures reduce consistently. Have filled them thrice in the past week.. Front - 29, rear - 33
