If it's feasible for u, then continue. But I have also heard that Teflon coating removes a coating of paint.. I'm not very sure though...
Btw, I got three free Teflon coating coupons from svc.. How come u didn't??

More than the brand, make sure he uses Teflon... Many people just apply a good quality wax polish and charge for Teflon... I wasnt bothered coz it was free As they are charging 500,just check if it's really Teflon. Moreover, the sheen lasts only for around 2 weeks in cities... So it's ur discretion...
PS even mine is the first bike bro, so we are on the same note :-P
Accessories : I got only crash guard apart from the stock accessories which come with the bike.

I would say think what they use as a polish and not a teflon coat.In honda service centres they use any random bottle with a nozzle, squeeze some out of it and then machine polish it.It will be difficult to id the brand they use.
I have seen this practice everytime I give my bike for servicing.

It was around 50 both before and after servicing. Didn't see much difference.

Installed this engine guard yesterday. How does it look? Is it better now or was it better without it?

Only problem I am facing due to it is that if the suspension gets pushed way inside due to speedbreakers or hard braking, the rear part of the front mudguard hits the upper portion of the engine guard. I've noticed minor scratches on the mudguard due to this.

An engine guard protects the portion of the engine exposed behind the front wheel from mud, sand, pebbles and small stones that are flung by the front wheel while riding.

You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. ~Robert Pirsig

Did first service at +400 kms. The mech there told me that it is safe to skip past the 4.5K rpm limit post service. Though he advised not to use full throttle at any gear. I was sceptical, nonetheless I cruised above 4.5K rpm, with speeds hovering around 70km/hr in 5th gear for quite sometime.(10-15 min.). Since the incident there is a distinguishable sound coming from the engine not too loud to be heard when riding but easily recognisable in standstill position i.e throttle off & in a quiet place. It seems the mileage has not been affected, getting around 42-45km/ltr.

                          Cause for concern?

Haha..that\'s a good question, actually. I\'d like to think after the accident...

Anyways the point i was trying to make was i was trying to get the bike leaned over severely, and since it was so quick, the majority of the impact was on my shoulder, which purely accidental and not done on purpose.

Hope i resolved your doubt fully??
