Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Same here bro.. Mileage drops drastically if ridden hard and the engine becomes gruff after an hour of riding in the highway. I'm also getting mileage around 40 to 45 KMPL at average of 90KMPH. Before first service used to get close to 50 or more. Also my bike doesnt go past 8.5k Rpm(105kmph) in highway rides and the engine becomes very stressed. Any suggestions? (I have changed the oil to Shell AX7 SS 10W40).Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostDid the bike not accelerate past 75kmph/5500RPM? This was the issue I faced when I purchased and I asked for Carb replacement which the service center did. In neutral RPM touched 10K but while riding it didn't go past 5500.

Not really long trips..you can cruise at 85kmph without feling any stress on the engine. Past 85kmph the engine vibrates a little until 95kmph(Rear View Mirror becomes unclear).
Stability issues mainly depends on the ROAD Tarmac. But no stability issues until 105kmph. On sandy roads(esp sand on cement roads) stability becomes independent of speed
.
yes there is windblast.
Anyone noticed Mileage at highspeeds? I am getting 39kmpl at 70~90kmph and 33kmpl at 100~115kmph.
Also my city mileage is 46+ but my highway mileage never exceeded 47~48kmpl.
I've already asked this question, Please reply. Thank you.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi
Changed my engine oil during 1st service just 4 days back. Now I noticed that the oil color looks black within 4 days & 225 kms also oil level goes beyond then level "F" may be some 150 ml extra oil there in the engine. Today I went to scv & checked with them. They said that nothing wrong in extra 150 ml oil. Also they said color of oil will change in max 2 days. I'm bit worried. What is ur suggestion guys... Shall I buy a fresh oil from other Suzuki dealer for replacing the old.?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Guys, i had earlier posted an issue relating to dirt splashing from front tyres on to the engine and rider's feet...I took up the issue with the company; the Area Manager called for my "Feedback"; spoke for about 15 mins; admitted the inherent defect in design and said that the feedback has been sent to the design team in Japan.
I would request you guys to write to your respective Area Managers with regard to the issues. I guess they are serious and are responding.
