Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
My 2 services are free.. free.. free.
During the first service I told the service people that I changed the oil just 300kms ago and they said OK we wont change the oil now but told me you remember to change the oil after 2000kms.
During the second service I didn't say anything, but the mechanic observed the oil and said there is no need to change the oil.
My chain is kept lubricated all the time, so they didn't even use chain clean/lube.
Absolutely fantastic service center at my place.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Lol...yes punarvasu !...I am perfectly aware of that fact!!
What I was trying to point out was that, as per the source, the name could end up to be GSX150R, which was what was initially rumored. Although in some of the spy shots is more than clearly shown as being badged "Gixxer SF"...so was just stating that as a rumor, and not the bike itself!
Cheers

Need some help regarding tuning my bike. Wanted to custom tune the carb to get more lower end torque. Can I do it myself? I tried finding the tuning screw but couldn't find it.
All tips and guides are welcome. The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Its not that easy. Also tuning carb require more skill. Only trained service person can do. Don't try to alter ur carb setting. Reverse it factory setting.Originally posted by Avinash666 View PostNeed some help regarding tuning my bike. Wanted to custom tune the carb to get more lower end torque. Can I do it myself? If you are seriously considering it, I would first suggest you to find and pinpoint some of the best freelance mechanics in your city. Hearsay....etc, and take it to them.Originally posted by Avinash666 View PostNeed some help regarding tuning my bike. Wanted to custom tune the carb to get more lower end torque. Can I do it myself? Dont try and mess with the carb yourself.
Also by taking to the Mech. you can also learn this craft as you quiz him what he's up to???

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Good news fo prospective buyers of Suzuki at Navi Mumbai. New showroom opened by CG Motors at Kopar Khaine-Sector 2A opposite Hotel Varishthaa.
I had visited the showroom a couple of days back and was surrounded by 7-8 people enquiring about my Gixxer's performance. Even the SVC guys came to enquire as they havent got any information about the bike s performance from any existing owner. The store manager didnt know I own one and started boasting that they are exclusive when it comes for servicing in N Mumbai which I corrected him accordingly
.
Another good thing is they had pretty good stock of gixxers and a one who has the buck can get a gixxer in a day or two(dont go by my words as there were a lot of prospective buyers and stocks can deplete fast). I had to wait for my gixxer for a month
.
The new showroom will give comfort to people in and around N Mumbai given the understanding that the existing showroom at Panvel is winding up.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
There is no such thing as custom-tuning a carburetor . If your bike is having a problem in running properly and you suspect the carburetor , then and only then you should clean & service it and adjust it's settings . It is not something you should fiddle with idly . Of course you can tune it properly yourself if it is not working well . But remember that you can also introduce the problem it is not having , by tinkering with it un-necessarily .Originally posted by Avinash666 View PostNeed some help regarding tuning my bike.
