    Mileage report. Mixed city(40%), highway(60%)

    Trip 1 :

Hard revving in the city, speeds of 85-110 on the highway (Pune - Mumbai (downhill))
    364 kms - 9.89 lts
    36.8 km/l

    Trip 2 :
Hard revving in the city, speeds of 85-110 on the highway (Mumbai - Pune(uphill))
    334 kms - 9.24 lts
    36.1 km/l

Little disappointed. I thought I'd get at least 40km/l.

We start losing on mileage rapidly as we go upwards of 85kmph, be it any bike..

Two of my friends have Gixxers and they ride around 60-80kmph.. They get mileage of 50kmpl..
It's the journey that matters, not the destination.

Guys.. My rear shock absorber has been damaged.. Gave my bike to a friend to ride.. He rode it badly on potholes.. And the oil from shock absorber started leaking.. Took it to a local mechanic as Suzuki SVC was closed.. They said its damaged and need to be replaced... The back part now vibrates a lot and riding quality is poor... Any solutions [emoji20]

Go to Suzuki svc asap and get it changed under warranty.

I own a black gixxer from 5 months. After the second service i've witnessed noticeable changes in my bike. Self start bugs me alot and i no longer hear that awesome bassy sound when riding, when i put forth all these issues to SVC they say my bike is alright as if they don't want to pay heed to my issues.

Any suggestions on good looking fibre engine guard to make it look more sportier??

Exact mileage figures in my ten months old Gixxer too. Even I expected it to return around 40KMPL at those speeds but that's how it is

So i showed the SVC about the rear suspension damage and they said it will be repaired in warranty.. Liked their behavior.. They were like "chill bro its in warranty.. Why worry?"😂
Anyways the main issue is they told me they have to send a photo of the damaged part to company and then Suzuki will send them the suspension kit as it is a matter of warranty.. It will take time and when asked how many days they said most probably by the end of this month.. They took the required pics and returned the bike..
No more riding for me now as its not at all smooth to ride.. I can feel every bits of the road like as if i am riding a cycle with punctured tire..😥😩😫😖

Yea.. I was afraid of costs.. Googled n found that Yamahas rear suspension kit costs almost 3k..
