You can go for normal servicing. No issues. But you will void your warranty. Dont miss servicing under prescribed KM range in SVC. Except that you can get your bike serviced in local shops whenever you want.
I use Motul 300v fully synthetic engine oil. Fantastic result.

I have done 1 year on my bike. How long will be the warranty period? The oil you mentioned is very expensive. BTW after how many kms should we change the oil that you have mentioned?

What do you mean by fantastic result? I mean what differences did you notice? How often do you change it?

2 year warranty/30,000KM plus 3 year extended one ( was offered when i purchased the bike in Jan 2015. do not know whether it is offered now or not.).

Yes motul 300v is little expensive but is a good oil. I change it every 5-6k KM.

fantastic:-improved acceleration, very smooth gear shift (many have mentioned hard gear shift in gixxer. This oil will definitely change that) and lesser vibrations . Mileage should also increase but cant comment on that as I have never checked the mileage after oil change. Got to know from a mechanic that it also improves engine life. But yet to test that
I have 34k KM on my gixxer ODO and bike still gives excellent performance in terms of acceleration and vibrations.

If you feel motul 300 v is expensive you can also go for other fully synthetic oils like motul 7100 4T or there is one from shell too. But cant comment on performance as I havent checked them. However one thing is worth mentioning that my mechanic told me to change engine oil from semi synthetic to fully synthetic only after driving around 8-10k KM. Do not know why.

Hi Guys, I am facing some serious mileage issues on my Gixxer from last 8 months. After rigorous follow ups with service center they finally went ahead and opened the engine for repairs. (This is after many times of carburator setting) now they have worked on the valves. Any idea what else I can get fixed before I take it back from service center. Guys kindly revert on this. Since the constant mileage I was getting was 31kmpl.

You mean, they adjusted valve clearances?
                Were they off from spec?
