Just faced a very Critical issue. While going down the flyover I observed complete loss of acceleration. Upon getting off the bike I couldn't kick start the bike. It felt the lever was out of it's place. Self start would make the shrieking noise but the engine won't start. I dragged the bike all the way from Sector 62, Noida to ShriShakti Suzuki, Jagatpuri but alas, it being Tuesday, could not find the Service guys. I am totally worried and surprised as how come this thing happened. It has been just 14 months from purchase and all services were done at the regular intervals. I am more of a calm rider and have touched max of 97 kmph and that too only twice in this 14 months of my ownership. I would like to get a opinion from this strong community as to what could have been the damage or what to expect tomorrow as I take it back to the Suzuki guys. Awaiting eagerly for a reply!
i have faced same issue like this, there is a pipe on right side of the bike. i don't know what they call,it came off. when they insert back.,issue solved.

Can someone please help with a problem
Lately my bike has giving a issue.
Say if i am riding on 25 on 3rd and let go of the throttle and while throttling up again while rolling in speeds i feel a jerk from the engine as if a gear has changed. Its gives a rush something like a bunny hopping everytime i let go off throttle and resume it.
Its just for that one jerk only then its normal again.
        Its felt on 3rd 4th 5h gear.
        Has anybody any idea?
And yes my bike is 1.5 years old, she gets her proper Servicing in regular intervals and i know how she should behave so please don't say it's how it's supposed to be.

Also can someone share the price of throttle and clutch cable?
And can only the exclusive cable has to be used or any other cable would suffice?

I had the same issue, check if something is blocking the air filter intake under the seat, if not try getting your air filter cleaned.
I used to get jerks around the 5-6k limit in 3-4-5th gears too, but it went away after i got the airfilter cleaned.
I've also had my throttle cable get stuck beacuse of a loose nut near the connection to the handle bar. But that causes the bike to stay at a constant rpm rather than jerking, it was extremely scary riding the bike to the SVC though.

It happens on relatively lower speeds on 2-3k rpm
            So i don't think it's a filter issue
And i have a new filter installed

                hello all
                anyone come across this issue
while changing gears, after shifting up, the gear not shifting immediately but after slight depressing the clutch(say 30% of clutch play) it is shifting to next gear
due to this if i want to make fast shifting, the gear is stucking for sometime and shifting up. At this time i am getting metal rubbing sound from gear box
if anybody having this issue please tell me how to overcome this
and recently bike get vibrations while decelerating at and around 4.5k RPM my bike coverd only 1900kms and first service done at 750kms
also one more thing is that, all of my friends rode my bike and saying pickup was very less i also feel that but i thought it is new thats why it is less and think that it will improve after service will it improve after second service or i should complain to service ppl that pickup was less
                thanks in advance

I heard many used this n experienced more smoothness of engine n gear shifts.....good performance n mileage, but lil costly 1+k
i have used 300v 10w40...i think it is the best oil for gixxer. however 300v is strictly racing oil. it needs frequent replacement (3k KM). Earlier I changed it once after 4-5k KM but it was a mistake. this oil should be changed more frequently. However it makes engine very smooth. no vibrations till 90kmph. But it is costly so i decided to switch to 7100t fully synthetic. On internet I found that it is ideal for street biking and cruising and lasts around 5k KM. Today while servicing I changed the oil to 7100 t from 300v. engine is smooth however further performance is yet to be tested. I will update after a couple of days.

Ok....so after 5k kms, must move to fully synthetic......and using 300v....oil change intervals:3000kms

And if 7100t, oil change intervals:5000k

I have ordered 300v. So am thinking of using this time only. Later after using 300v how mch kms shud be compleated to move to 7100t? 3k?

Thinking of replacing the 12v35w stock bulb with osram silverlight h1 bulb. But am confused between osram silverlight and night racer plus. (Both are 12v35w)

Heard both gives more light than stock. The silverlight produces yellow light but what night racer gives.....yellowish white?

yes you can do that. i cant confirm on 5k km capacity of 7100 T as I have only used 300v. i can tell after i have completed a couple of thousand KM. the information which i gave is from internet about 7100T. Regarding headlights, you can go for osram nightbreaker or philips xtreme vision plus. both are 55/60W but you wont face any issue. I have been using it for a long time(xtreme vision plus)

I know theres no issue, but using a 55/6W bulb reduces the life of the battery and increases its charging time too. So am gonna stick to alternative 12v35w bulb but a little improved light than stock. Moreover night breaker n xtreme visn both are white/bluish white light.
If theres a possibility, i wud really like to upgrade its battery to a higher wattage in future coz led lighting of headlamp, indicators, dual horns is in my wishlist

Hav yo ever felt the horn sound go pale?

Such a good bike with poor battery n lighting.

                          or drum brakes.

                          ???
I am using gixxer sf rear disk variant from 3 weeks done 400kms +, no issues with rear break, it works fine.

                            Hi guys ,

After hitting 30000KM my bike chain getting bad sound ,
service center guys told me it's better to change the chain now ( driven chain)
do u guys know which type of chain fits to the gixxer 155 ( how many links chain content )
also can i use same chain use for yamaha FZ 155

I know original chain having O ring chain but in owners manual could not find how many link available for chain ,

please note that In my town few Suzuki showrooms are available , original gixxer parts are much expensive hence need t know what is the actual chain type that fits t gixxer 155

                              Hi guys,
I am having an issue with my bike. when ever i go above 90 my bike acts all sluggishy like the petrol is about to finish. Then i have to slow it down to 20-30 and drive for like 1km, to bring it back to normal state. I have said the same in the SVC and then it was normal for like a month. And now again the problem appears. What may be the problem?
Is it because of the engine oil? I have crossed 10k kms and i still use the same oil given by suzuki. Lots of posts here states that we should use full synthetic oil after 5k kms, Is it true?
