If it is off then maybe your clutch isn't tight enough? I too have recently noticed the wheel spinning and a little playing around with the clucth play adjustment solved it!

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
For the wheel spinning: Check if your choke is completely off (my rear wheel used to spin because the choke switch was 1/6th of the position towards on, switching it all the way off solved the wheel spinning thing for me temporarily).Originally posted by shadowrider View Post

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Service manual has the directions I guess. Its a metal tube that holds the clutch wire, right next to the engine with a nut for adjustment.Originally posted by shadowrider View PostHow to adjust the clutch play?
However how does the slight wheel movement affect the bike? Since it even goes away once the engine is warm :/

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
It doesn't affect at all..just want to know why it popped out after an oil change and one more thing I forgot to say is that the clutch feels tight after the service.Originally posted by Tloren View PostService manual has the directions I guess. My ownership review of the Suzuki Gixxer :
Make : Suzuki Model : Gixxer 155 Version : Naked Date of purchase : 13th April, 2016. Current odometer reading : 7200 kms. Fuel efficiency : 45 km/l. 2015, a lazy summer afternoon. I wa…
Took almost a month of writing, shooting and procrastinating to write it.
Getting an irritating kat-kat sound from the front end over uneven surfaces. The frequency is very high! Any idea what it might be?

Can you sit on top of the bikehold the front brake and press up and down the handlebar to compress and decompress the fork..check if the sound comes when doing this way.Originally posted by Fagant View PostMy ownership review of the Suzuki Gixxer :

I have kept the stock light as it is. Just Installed a projector LED fog light on top of the left leg guard focusing Middle-Leftish (Cost around 1000 bucks including fittings). The thing is so bright that it floods the left side with white light. Scared to use another one on the right side because that will surely make the oncoming vehicles blind. Problem solved.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
No sound from the suspension whatsoever. It's on the rattling side, I guess a part has become loose in the front end. Wondering what it might be. Can't even take it to the authorized SVC here, because it sucks big time.Originally posted by shadowrider View PostCan you sit on top of the bikehold the front brake and press up and down the handlebar to compress and decompress the fork..check if the sound comes when doing this way.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
If you are sure there is excess oil, then it is better to remove it.Originally posted by shadowrider View PostI changed the oil myself.last time but this time was too lazy so gave it to the SVC...the engine oil.shouldn't go.above he f mark even if it is an cold engine..checked the engine oil level after starting and stopping ..still at the top..gonna remove the excess oil by opening the filler cap and using suction tube from hand wash bottle..the rear wheel spinning problem.I start the bike..the wheel doesn't spin in neutral..then when I put it in first gear and without releasing the clutch itself it starts spinning. Wasn't it suppose to move when the clutch is released.
I believe slight rotation of the wheel with clutch fully depressed is okay. May be you can check if the clutch setting is correct.

Removed the excess oil..by loosening the oil filter cap..bad job done by the SVC..was to lazy to loosen the drain bolt..the svc overfilled it big time.now eveythings fine.Originally posted by SatSon View PostIf you are sure there is excess oil, then it is better to remove it.

Can someone point out the rubber thing in the pic?Originally posted by gnan10 View PostToday I have took my bike to SVC. I have addressed this engine noise issue. They told me the noise is because of the rubber thing missing on breathe nozzle. They fixed it now. I will have to take a ride to know the noise reduction rate. PFA the picture for reference.

Even I'm facing noise from the engine!
