Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yes, if you want to do some serious engine assembly/disassembly work with a torque wrench. Otherwise, just the values (intake/exhaust tappet clearances, fork oil level, multimeter normal ranges for troubleshooting electricals) would do.Originally posted by Angurj View PostWorth though...

I would even want that in English just to read and learn [emoji18]Originally posted by ashwanth.r View PostYes, if you want to do some serious engine assembly/disassembly work with a torque wrench. I agree with you as I do that too.Originally posted by Angurj View PostI would even want that in English just to read and learn [emoji18]
By the way, I didn't share details of the good soul who guided me to the manual. His DIY videos are good.

Hey Ashwanth, how you doing?Originally posted by ashwanth.r View PostHi ! I have not translated it yet - the free online doc translator gives a 10 MB limit for the pdf. One way is to convert the whole pdf into *tif format, copy the text using Microsoft Document Imaging (OCR) and use Google translate, but this is like touching your nose via the occiput.
@eternoMind , Can you please help us here - if you use some other method.
Good to see you're active and helping as always in other threads too.
And I used the same free online doc translator you've mentioned. Workaround for 10MB limit is to split file. Rejoin later.
Did the same, translation is not perfect but unlike touching your nose directly via the occiput, this way you have a spoon to help your hand extend comfortably.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
What are some of the essential mods that i can perform on my stock naked black Gixxer.
By mods i don't mean to hotrod the bike, but only the essentials which could only enhance the usability. I hope you guys get me. My bike is an year old now, and i feel that i need to upgrade the lights and horn. If you guys have some suggestions, please let me know. Also which oil will be the best overall, since I've never bothered to use anything other than motul which the service center guys use. Just wanted to check whether there is something better alternative.
Once again if you guys have any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Thanks. That is a little too far from my place. Does anyone know of any good service centre in around the stretch between Indiranagar and Marathahalli ? Or maybe around Richmond Circle? Thanks in advance !Originally posted by vinitbuch View PostI have good experience with a garage near RT Nagar. It's Sap Motorcycle Labs. I get my Pulsar 200NS and Yamaha fz16 serviced there. People are friendly and know about bikes for real.
If you plan to go there, ask for Amar and you may also give my reference.

If you are into highway riding/touring/weekend gateway, opt for Motul 10W40 / 10W50 (synthetic) oil. Will serve you good.Originally posted by Manik Agrawal View PostWhat are some of the essential mods that i can perform on my stock naked black Gixxer.

I forgot the PDF splitter ! Worked flawlessly. As expected, those text in "image" form was not translated but this is more than 70% translation with good accuracy, with common sense we can try to understand, for e.g., "preheat engine" is warming up!
