Tyres, battery are fine right now. No visible crack.
Also it was never sitting for long. Ran few 10s of kms every few days.

OK guys my fifth service is coming up and its a paid one..I don't want to give it to the SVC because here they will charge 500 for labour charge for oil and.filter change..so is it ok if I give it to my trusted mechanic..obviously it will void the warrnty..and I was reading the manual where they said to replace the gasket when changing the oil..where is the gasket actually located.

            Hii,

Done with the first service, they charged around 1000 Rs, I had a specific problem, i felt the handle was wobbling a bit at around 50km/hr speed, told them to check handle alignment, they haven't done anything i feel (Air pressure was normal). Also facing some issue with the engine, it runs butter smooth upto 4k rpm, from 4k to 5.5k rpm there is kind of creepy noise and it behaves way differently, is this normal in all gixxers?..

And please let me know if any of you know a good mechanic in Bangalore?..

              Creepy noise from engine?
A video would help you to describe more.

I am a bit OCD about maintaining my bike. I wash it every other day.(daily if it gets too dirty). 😀😀

Proud owner of suzuki gixxer sp now, done 700km in 10 days. At showroom, seller guy said dont go beyond 5k rpm, i was going 5k for 1 whole day's ride untill i read manual 😇, after reading manual i came to know that 4500rpm is max for first 800kms, i panic and doing 4.5 after that...
                    Is this effects anything?😫.
And im giving it to first service when it clock 750, and wanted to do 350km run after that, is that ok?
                    Any suggestions please 😬
                    Thanks

No issues. limit the RPM in future. And yes you can go for a long drive. Just maintain the speed limits (RPM). You can set the blinker at 4.5k RPM if you want.

                        Thank you for the reply.
Yes i did, set it to 4.5 k rpm now, by default it was at 5k.
As per manual can i go beyond 4.5k after 800km?
I read somewhere about breaking-in of engine, that is bothering me a lot now 😅

In manual, they've also mentioned to maintain under 7.5 rpm until we reach 1600. After that no limit they've given

Hi everyone, took delivery of gixxer sp exactly a week ago, covered only 80km so far as i still didnt get tr due to some issues, everythings great but the bike keeps stalling while riding when the throttle is not being applied, especially during downshifting,i am warming up the bike every morning for 40+ seconds..i suspect that rpm is the problem, during idling, only 1 bar shows up in rpm reading, which means its set between 500 and 1k when it should be 1.3k according to manual..i just want to know how many bars in rpm meter show up normally when engine is idling thanks in advance.
