The gear shifts are smooth, sound is beefy and bassy and slightly increased mileage 2-3km/l. I can't say it's only because of this or not, am also using motul 300v along with servo adon p petrol additive. The bike feels awesome to ride. For 140 bucks i think its great, i did'nt expected much from this but this surely contributed to the engine refinement.
Final verdict you can try it doesn't do any harm. There is two variant available on amazon i am using the small engine formula.

Yesterday, I saw a naked Gixxer in a colour combination which I don't think is listed on their website. I initially though it was a Gixxer SP but it was not. It was in green and orange kind of combination. Or maybe my memory is failing me, I didn't click any pics or that would have settled it.

There is also the possibility that the owner got the bike wrapped.

Was anyone able to figure out the cause of rubber like burning smell coming from the right side of the engine ??

Also a naive question here: whats the average speed at which you guys shift from 3rd to 4th gear ?

            Buying riding gears ?

The headlight and display flickers, the engine sputters and bike keeps jumping if I try to use in this state. And now, the problem does not resolve on waiting, like it did last time.
It worked normally for two days after it happened last time. And now I'm pretty sure it's not cause of heating cause it happened this time on a short trip.

Does anyone have any clue what's going on? I'm pretty tensed about it.

                Sorry, didn't get it.

Also, how different is turning radius of a naked Gixxer compared to SF Gixxer?

                  Google "motorcycle wrap"

No difference in turning radius. SF is the same as Naked with fairing thats all.

I'd rather prefer the raw grunt from earlier but is it supposed to be like that? And also, the throttle response at 1-2-3 gears has reduced. Bike jumps to 40-50kmph smoothly without any effort unlike it did before the service. If it's helpful, I kept the RPM <5k with highest speed at 70kmph. Also, I shift at 4k.

I get that smell from my gixxer's engine every day, not sure why it comes up, even on a short 10km ride. The SVCs are of no use...

Regarding gear shift, I usually go till 60kmph in 3rd gear and change to 4th, @4.5 - 5k rpm.

                        Is this normal?

The smell comes from teh Cylinder head cover and I was assured by both an AM and RM that its perfectly fine (emphasis on the word "fine" not "normal")

As for shifts, it depends on existing traffic conditions at the moment of riding. If the traffic is tight or you feel like having a good day, you can shift in the mid revs (5-6)

But if its a relatively free flowing route, then shifting in the lower revs is fine but just make sure you dont Lug the engine (shift immediately if you hear the engine suffocating)

Works like a charm. It can be used for I guess around a hundred polishes because it spreads so well you have to use just a few drops of it. Use it after cleaning the area on which it is to be applied. And I\'m using 3M 4 Way Lubricant.Spray it on exposed nuts and bolts to prevent rusting. You can use it for cleaning the chain too but I haven\'t tried it for that yet so can\'t say. Do the spraying once in 10 days or so. More than sufficient. Got both from a local shop that sells paints. I got the engine guard as an accessory from the showroom. Works well.

@livingsoul: Got seat cover done for 300Rs. No white tapes bro, just a skilled worker. It\'s part of the seat. Got the rim stickers for 150Rs.

A clearer pic of the seat cover. Notice the white stitching over the black border. And I also got the rear mudguard extension and the saree guard removed for 10Rs.
what is the dimension of the plate you used to guard the engine? is it a custom made one?
