The redline is at 14k Rpm with a little over 7.8bhp added in addition to the 3.2 bhp from the Arrow GP2 full system and the airbox upgrade.

The engine runs a lot richer in the higher RPMs. It pulls cleanly from 3k in any gear, no stuttering, no hopping. Launching the bike is a tad bit tricky and you will need to half clutch in the first gear to ease the power in and prevent a wheelie. Once you're off at full throttle, the controlled power wheelies will continue until you shift into 4th gear.

Attached a few videos of the Powertronics(RC Cup map) vs stock vs custom ECUhttp://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5a8266b2...082511_141.mp4http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5a8266a2...211-WA0010.mp4
So a overall gain of 11 hp
Did you test it out on a dyno?
Keen to know how many horses she is putting down at wheel and also how she makes power.
But then with the current tune, i dont expect the motor to last for a lot of track sessions.
    Do keep updating.

Can you please provide a link, or information about how to order the rebuild kit? I have not had success in finder no an appropriate kit. Thanks

I ordered the rebuild kit for the caliper and it arrived with 4 pistons and the corresponding o-rings and dust seals but not the O-ring for the fluid. We just used a generic o-ring off the shelf to replace that one. We also received a new bleeder valve with the rubber dust cap.

Yes, that bolt recess that you see are for earlier model Duke where the chain guards were present. The newer models do have their chain guards made taller, so absolutely nothing to worry.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              Hello guys !

Recently there is one problem with the Duke 390 (2018/2017) versions. The paint from the rims just comes off on wiping with just a normal tissue paper.

Does the RC also has this problem ? Click image for larger version

                    HI

Last week i serviced my bike and thought of going for new RC seat but ASC people advised that it is not good if your bike stands in direct sunlight as it can go bad with time ,I am not able to understand the concept so just want to know the thoughts of fellow riders if fitting new seat really benefit?
Also i had a leaked right side front fork so while fixing it i requested to change the left side fork oil as the bike is now more than 3 year old (4000km mileage) but ASC people advised against it as there is no use of that as it doesn't go bad with the mileage my bike have ,can some one help me here please if i should change the left side fork oil as well in the next service.I was in hurry that time as i had to catch the flight otherwise i would have requested to do as well.

Thanks ,i installed it last week and its a direct fit & works well .As i have seen first time in flesh those lever were of good quality.

The 390 MC is the same for both the older and the 2017 models(I think). The Ktm adjustable levers should work on the older MC. Now, I would suggest you go for aftermarket adjustable brake levers for 2k. It is length adjustable and the lever pivots to make sure it does not break if you take a tumble.

I would get RE CGT MC only it I'm not happy with the improved performance of EBC pads. And I was very happy. This includes duty at a couple of track days. Your call though.
Thanks for the info i installed the EBC pads and even they were newly installed they were kicking ABS lot more sooner than earlier with satisfactory initial bite,i checked till 80 kmph speed now i need to see how it behave at higher speed and after they bed in as the earlier ones lacks stopping power at higher speed and it gets scary sometimes..unfortunately i am now again out of india so cant check it until next year but while replacing my brake pads i noticed the factory fitted one only had 10% life left (bike odo at 3800+ km) hope EBC last much longer.

                    - Check battery and stator coil
                    - Replace fuel filter
                    - Service front forks
                    - Flush brake fluids and service master cylinder (The RE Continental GT MC is 16mm and definitely offers more bite)
                    - Replace brake pads to stock sintered pads(The stock pads are now made by Brembo and are half the price of the EBC, not as much initial bite but very good overall)
                    - Check fuses and replace if needed
                    - Replace injectors
                    - Upgrade clutch to 2017 slipper (not required)
                    - Check chain and sprockets, replace if required
                    - Check main drive play
                    - Check valve clearance
                    - Check and replace tires if required
                    - Balance wheels
THanks ,had your advice in my mind and replaced all the fluid and done necessary checks.bike character changed a lot although bearing of the Tstem( if i am right with the term) was also replaced as they went bad.

I've put the new model seats. It's slightly better cushioned, don't expect too much difference. The seat height will go up by a few millimeters.

There have been repeated complaints of paint leaving residue both on front and rear rims of the newer 2018 bike, and complaints have been raised by the respective owners, yet the response is lukewarm from the SVC side. It's clear poor QC and paint job from Bajaj. The older lots were much more stable when compared to the 2018 batch. Send a mail to [email protected] regarding your isssue, and push for a warranty.

Check your water pump seals, and cylinder head gasket. A warped/blown gasket and failed pump seals would mean coolant would disappear even after repeated top-ups, get it checked at the SVC.

                              Cheers!
