Also should I upgrade my disc as well or this 300mm disc can easily cop up with increase friction and heat generated.I am planning to get adjustable levers from 2017 model so can I still install continental GT MC with them or I need to go with 2017 model MC..
Sorry I am asking too much question but as I am out of India so not able to check on my own and i am planning to take it to Goa when i will visit India next month. Thanks and much appreciated.
No need to upgrade the disc. The stock one works well with the EBC brake pads. I used it for 6k kms. No grooves or warping on the rotor. You have to get used to the different sound it makes. It won't squeal but it won't be silent either.

The 390 MC is the same for both the older and the 2017 models(I think). The Ktm adjustable levers should work on the older MC. Now, I would suggest you go for aftermarket adjustable brake levers for 2k. It is length adjustable and the lever pivots to make sure it does not break if you take a tumble.

I would get RE CGT MC only it I'm not happy with the improved performance of EBC pads. And I was very happy. This includes duty at a couple of track days. Your call though.

Thanks ...i am fine with the MC if uneven pressure issue gets fixed after servicing...i think new rc2017 is having 13 mm hole ...1 mm bigger than older model.
.I will check MC performance after servicing and than will decide..btw can you please provide the name or link of the adjustable levers you are recommending.
Also i am here in uk so thought of getting new disc as it will be cheap here when there is some sale going on but i am happy with your exp with the disc so plan dropped as of now..thanks again

Not sure which one 250 has but 390 has the adjustible levers.
Clutch is for some 350₹ and front brake costs around 1900₹.

                  - Change of MC from the 18mm Brembos to the the 16mm MC
                  - Upgraded to the slipper clutch from 2017
                  - Removed lights and indicators
                  - Front has been lowered by 50mm
                  - Running a Powertronics piggyback with a custom map( Map 1- 12.5k redline Map2 -14k redline)
                  - Removed the ABS unit completely, so no speedo reading only RPM works
                  - Removed the stock coolant reservoir and added a PET bottle.

                  Few pictures attached for reference.
Hi Pizzaboi... what is the cost of retrofitting slipper clutch in rc390?Thanks..

Thanks ..ASC also changes clutch plates or they just uses the existing one if it is in good condition?..if they can utilize the existing clutch than i will plan to install it this month otherwise i will wait for couple of month with more kms clocked.

New plates. The plates are anyway not much expensive. The labour for that work is.

Even If your old plates are used and then they need replacement after like few thousand KM's, you'll again pay for labour and plates. That will make overall expense more than 9k.

The entire clutch basket, the pressure plate, the clutch hub, everything is replaced and the clutch set is expensive. It's always a good idea to replace the clutch plates along with a new clutch setup.

                          Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                            Hi,

The slipper clutch costs Rs.5800/- this includes the clutch basket, hub clutch plates & pressure plates.

You will need to buy the bearing which is Rs.108 and change the oil if needed otherwise there is no other cost involved.

The service center should not charge more than Rs.700-1000 for labour charges.

                            Hope this helps.

The clutch basket is cast aluminum and is very brittle, if the tech isn't careful, they can break the clutch basket while torquing it. This is what happened in my case and we had to order a new set.

How is the bike handling after lowering the front?
I also installed clipons but didnt lower the front

Have you ran your bike on dyno after installing piggyback ecu? If yes how much power is it making?

How much weight did your bike lose in its current avatar, I guess im just curious to find out [emoji28]

Any plan for rear shock upgrade?

So a small update, my bike stopped mid way during a trip on Monday. I heard a lot of timing chain noise and then I stopped the bike to check on it, switched on the bike and there was no crank. The bike simply would not crank at all. Had to bring her back loaded on a share auto for 200 kms as I did not get any other transportation. I had changed the timing tensioner before the ride. My bike is going to touch 50k on the ODO now and just turned two years old.

The engine was opened up today and it was found that the timing chain pad had broken on two and hence the break down.

                                My question now:

1.i noticed that the oil level was low around 1000 ml was drained, there was a gasket leak some 2k kms before and I changed that and topped up the fuel. Almost all my gaskets were leaking after my Sikkim-Bhutan run. Would this low oil level be signs of engine seizure? Because I don't see any smoke nor any power loss.
