Also tell guys at what kilometres should one start using Motul 5100 and at what kilometres onwards Motul 7100 be used.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostHey guys is anyone using Motul 5100 15w50 semi synthetic oil in their RS 200?
Is it a good choice instead of the Bajaj oil they use currently?

Thanks guys.
I have used both the oils Motul 5100 and 7100 in my bike. I have switched it to Motul 5100 at 1000kms and changed to Motul 7100 at 2000kms. I switched these oils in very short period due to curiosity and avoid vibrations.
It could be better, if you change the oil to Motul 5100 at 6000 kms and Motul 7100 after 8000 kms. (These suggestions are based on many bike forums)
There is no much difference between mineral and synthetic oil. I have not revved hard since the engine is new. Also I don't want to take risk. Whatever I have observed that all with linear acceleration. I could say the harshness and vibrations increased in my engine. Gear shifting smoothness little bit improved. Kindly note that I always shift the gear at less RPMs.

Unfortunately it's not Plug N Play like the one they offer for the Duke/RC 200 & 390.Originally posted by sevendustankit View PostMorning guys just got info that hazzard lights for our precious rs200 is available on eBay by spiraltech so check it out!!
This method will surely void the warranty and that's a risk I'm not willing to take. If anybody is brave enough to try it do let us know!

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Hi guys .I am facing some problems with my bike.
1)First of all i am getting squeaky noise from the front brake randomly .(It comes while i apply the break when pulling the bike backwards )I dont know the reason why i am getting that noise .I have checked the disc break and nothing is attached to it.(I know that the question i am asking is repeated, but i am unable to find the related post in the thread) .The noise does not come when i apply the break normally.
2)Second of all even after tightening all the screws of the windshield it does not stop vibrating and also there is some rattling noise that i can hear in the open space present between the handle bars. After riding the bike for about say 7-8 kms some smell comes from the coolant part.I usually dont inhale the smell .But the smell is strong.(Total odo reading of my Rs 200 is 540)I am done with second service also. (I guess the smell is of coolants).
3) What Tyre pressure should i maintain ?Should i fill the Tyre with nitrogen air and will the pressure of nitrogen air remains the same?26 front as recommended in manual seems very less .(I am saying this because i feel that the bike is putting extra effort to move).I should put my force to drag the bike

For your second question try this solution. Use a small 3M tape between plastic parts which are near to handle bar. Please see the image below. It may help to reduce the rattle. From my understanding windshield will not make any rattling noise since the screws are fitted with rubber washer. The fairing unit is much better than pulsar 220.
after stopping your bike check for any coolant leakage and check the coolant cap. In new bike after riding we can feel the paint smell.
For your third question, I am using nitrogen gas on my bike. Tyre pressure I am maintaining front 28 and rear 32. In summer don't go beyond this. Regarding petrol always try to keep minimum 3 points in the indicator. If I go below that level I feel that engine strains more. Try to fill the petrol from same petrol bunk and same petrol type. Then we can identify the issue easily.

Hi venkatesh .I went to apply the 3m tape near the fairing part but there was no gap between the plastic part.i ham posting a pic and when i pressed the plastic part it was going inside(the right side was going down, while the left was intact) and any of you guys feel the vibration near your seat.(i am experiencing this after my service).Originally posted by 2008venkatesh View PostI tried xtra premium and the bike used to stop.
