      Just like Icarious said, you can get that done for the Shift lever only. But if your shift linkage is deformed/bent, I would advice you to get it replaced.

      All damages can be rectified provided you give it time and $$$

        'Gixxer SF DD' is all they write during services and wrote on the challan when I bought the bike, so it became a habit. 'Rear Disk' is a fair term yes. My initial choice was the black. But as it seems, the black sort of obfuscates the muscles and curves of the bike. Makes it look so small compared to the red that I had to re-consider. I saw them side by side.

        Black makes the bike look small?! I strongly disagree.

          Brother gixxer is equipped with a 12v, 3ah battery. Its recommended to use a 35 w bulb. However a higher wattage bulbs or led's can be used, but it may damage the reflector or the glass and even reduce battery life. Adverse effects are inevitable when yo go beyond whats recommended. Many use dual LED spot lights mounted using a custom made bracket attached to the bolt where the number plate backet is attached Or near the shocks. This enables to use the lights only when needed most.

The best thing is, the mechanics test ride the bike 'before' and 'after' servicing it and asks you to take a ride and come back if you have any issue. Have a word with the mechanic before he takes your bike for a test ride. Tell him everything. Here is the link to their showroom / SVC https://www.google.co.in/maps/place/...3!4d88.2747532 . Ask for a guy called Prasenjit. As for Animesh, I also noticed that they overcharge a little for servicing too. Tanishq charges Rs. 100/- for chain lubing and they do it real nice. Animesh quoted Rs.200/- for the same from me the last time for the same.
          Yes i know. I exactly do these things. But they just seem to be lazy.
          Thank yo bro. I'll visit next time. Am done with Animesh Svc.

                        @MotoBlizzard

                        So I 'detuned' my carb to the factory settings as per that video you posted. Here are my observations (Pardon any rant / frustration). The bike is now performing much smoother and stress-free than what the SVC people did to it. Feeling the throttle response and RPM consistency as closer to as it was when I bought the bike it makes me feel that they messed it up not only this time but during one of the earlier services. This brings me to the following. This is not specific to just Suzuki but the service quality of every other brand in this segment. I really think the manufacturers should clearly state the dealers to train their mechanics NOT TO mess up with factory settings just cause they think they cool. The way we have been told as per the user's manual not to tinker with the carb screw as the manufacturer stock is just fine, the mechanics should have such a bible to adhere to. This is my first bike, and such experiences are really new to me, but after being here on xbhp since 1 year I came to realise one thing. Even though we can't let our vehicles to sit at home 'unrepaired' for extended periods of time, but most of the SVC's do more harm (I call it harm cause wrongly tinkering with the carb can cause a jerky ride which can be accidental as per my experience) than any good. Why should my bike's behaviour change unless I mess it up? The Number 1 priority of SVCs should be to keep and maintain the vehicles in factory condition. Any other hacks / tinkering / mods from the user's end will be their sole responsibility. Instead of asking your janitors and cleaners and service personnel to 'shoo' away consumers from the service bay area, they should really invest some effort in training their service personnel to adhere to company standards. I mention this 'shoo' away attitude cause I also own a Honda Navi (for my dad's daily uses) which I take to Honda SVC too. The bias towards more expensive bikes is clearly seen. People with commuter scooters and bikes (The Unicorn / Hornet / Activas and Navis) are treated as 2nd class citizens. As soon as someone steps in with a CBR 650F, a service 'engineer' is assigned to him and he is treated as "His Majesty Presidente'. He can stand near the bay as much as he wants, have a chat, given a 'cup' of tea. As if we didn't pay for our stuff.

                        This does induces a fear and brings my belief to the age old proverb 'Don't fix if it ain't broken'. That is, to avoid taking the bike for periodic servicing. It shouldn't be this way.

                            suzuki provides mrf revz m/y tires as stock. Yo could see the name, type and dimensions on the tires itself.

                                Got the bike checked today and there was a bent bracket (part of the frame)to which the whole foot rest with gear lever assy is attached.
