Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Do the RVMs stick as a sore point while filtering through gaps in the city?
Is it a good idea to mount the RVMs on the handle bar itself with Gixxer 155s RVMs??
I have seen a couple of Gixxer SFs with RVMs mounted on handle bars just like the Gixxer 155. It will be a boon filtering through tight gaps in the city traffic.
What you guys think?See the pic for reference.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Surely its possible... and i am going to do the same... while cutting through the traffic... the RVMs become almost useless and its the traffic where RVMs are very IMP.Originally posted by Saurabh Umadikar View PostDo the RVMs stick as a sore point while filtering through gaps in the city?

Its a good styling factor but we may have to ditch it due to traffic woes.

Its not blocked but is still sluggishOriginally posted by kannanmr16 View PostJust wanted to remind if not already known to you. Pls check the air filter path under the seat. It should not be blocked by documents/covers etc. Some people had this issue and found out the airway was blocked.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Hello All SF owners....
Can you guys please suggest me the best fitting body cover for our SF ... The showroom guy itself don't have the body cover for SF, so i order the Fazer & R-15 body cover from online but it doesn't fit on our SF ... did any one of you use the body cover for your SF ?? I desperately need the good body cover for my SF as my office don't have own parking so i have to park the bike in Pay-n-park which is too horrible . they park the 10 bikes in place of 5 bikes, which cause damage to all bikes, so don't want my new beauty to get damaged,
So guys please suggest me the best fitting body cover for our SF, online purchase link is highly appreciated, also did new Karizma ZMR body cover will work for our SF ? as it had the same shape of sf.Ride Hard Ride Safe...

I don't mean to scare you but is there a hole in your silencer?Originally posted by Alwin Tom View PostHave anyone tried changing the bike to GP shift. I can't seem to be able to take off the link on the shifter(pic) even after removing the screw.
Another question, does anyone know what the two rubber tubes coming out from under the headlamp is???

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Guys went to receive the bike today
And here again for the second time i ran out of luck
4 bikes came
3 were taken before my arrival
And the one which was left for me refused to start by any means
Hordes of mechanic of the svc 6 to be exact
Dismantled and re assembled the bike but inspite of their efforts the bike didn't start
People were looking at me with sorrow
Regular readers will know As i had postponed a delivery earlier
And today this happened
Luckily the owner of the showroom was kind enough
He told me not to go for this bike even if they repair it tomorrow
He gave me his personal number
Called a few guys in front of me and told me they will deliver the bike at my doorstep in 6 august
I wont even have to come
But With my luck
I'm having a feeling that suzuki will be bankrupt within 6th august
