Well... its a huge demand for Moto GP edition of gixxer... that may be the reason why showroom people are suggesting for black one which looks like any other bike...

In terms of size... i dont agree that its a small bike... many people who asked me abt this were surprised to hear that its just a 150 cc bike... it does look big with that fairing...

Think about quality before buying RS200 or Bajaj products before buying them...

Dear Sagar, I hope my statement wasn't offensive to the SF owners. I agree that its not a small bike and in fact it is longer than the RS200 by a full 70mm. But the design is such that a heavy 6 feet person may look a bit too large for the bike. If I were a bit lighter in weight and a bit slimmer perhaps it would have suited me better. Again this is my personal opinion based on how I feel sitting on the bike. Perceptions vary from person to person.

Hey bro... it did not offend me at all... dont worry... even i am 5.11 in height... and weigh around 85kg... even i was confused between RS200 and Gixxer so much so that i booked both bikes... thats why i gave you suggestion... when i closely observed both the bikes... its just quality that made me decide gixxer sf.

          Here's why...

This is not a small issue... n i don't want anyone's life to be at risk...

After all... its your choice bro... if you feel RS200 suits your personality... go for it.

Bro in my unbiased view you must go for gixxer sf as in pic it suites to your personality. Rs looks a bid odd to me on you. (no offence)

If you don't have any major issue with power I would suggest you to give a try to Suzuki. I am not against bajaj but looking into the pics I can say gixxer is waiting for you.

              Ride safe ✌

Thanks bro. I understand your point and I am mighty impressed with this bike. I have never seen a 150cc this good. The only thing is that I am not able to convince myself now that it does not look compact on me. Maybe its just in my head but I am unable to let it go from my mind. I have dropped Gixxer SF from my list already.

RS200 is not on the list anymore as well. Lots of niggles plus the behaviour of Partap Bajaj Chandigarh dealership totally shocked me. They are redlining the new RS200 and avengers parked inside their showroom. I took a small test drive of Avenger and drove it lightly. Once I got off the bike, their sales executive took the bike for a small ride for himself while I watched and it was so shocking to see him redlining and thrashing the new bike.

                  • Clip On Handlebar on Gixxer SF

Hey fellow riders please help me to get clipon handlebar on Gixxer SF.
Which handle bar can be fixed best to get commited riding position.
Gixxer already is good on handling and too comfortable, but I want more commited riding position during riding to get max out of it.
I was thinking of R15's but Gixxer has wider forks will it cause any problem??
                    Or any aftermarket clipons??
I have also asked on Suzuki official site if they can provide Gixxer cup parts , they asked my contact detail but after that no response

What octane rating petrol you guys fill ,, as per the manual Octane rating of 91 or higher is recommended ,, and normal petrol mostly have 88-89 . Also do SVC really check for valve clearance in very 1st service of bike as this specially marked for inspection ..my bike already making tick tick sounds on cold start but gone as soon as engine heat up
