Guys, I took my Gixxer on an awesome 15 day trip to Leh Ladakh, from and back to Delhi via Manali.

I wish I could say it was all smooth like [MENTION=79589]CMJ[/MENTION] reported. But I did face issues at high altitudes.
There was a huge lack of power and the bike started jerking beyond a particular rpm at heights.
It was really bad at some instances.

Not sure if this is exclusive to my bike. Showed it to a mechanic in Leh, who cleaned the air filter and carburettor, but to no avail.
In the end I had to blame low oxygen levels for the lack of power. My friend's Duke 200 being FI was not affected at all.

The performed superbly at low altitudes though, as it always does.

Could it have caused by a bad afr tuning?

Guys can I fit these bulb on my Gixxer Sf which has H1 bulb at my home without removing the fairing ?

Folks,
Has any one replaced the battery in the GIxxer SF? Which make?
My bike was given for service to Apple Auto and they really drained the battery. The bike was 1 Y 2 months old when given for servicing.
I have been kick starting every day.

I would like to go with an Amaron (better than Exide?) that can fit into the slightly extra space in the battery compartment.

Has any one tried this?

Amaron 5 amp will fit. 2 cm extra height is there. Remove the top sponge in the compartment and it will fit fine.

That's excellent. But why can't we fit H4 LED which can produce even more light and less wattage? Any specific reason. I am looking forward to upgrade lights for my Gixxer.

I have a no-brand LED headlamp (35W) on my Gixxer SF. OMFG it is so much better than the stock. Throw and visibility is simply amazing. Aaaand comes in white!

P.S. DOES NOT hurt eyes of oncoming traffic, when in dipper mode. Can't say the same about the upper though xD

The clip ons were pending decided to make a one last trip before the clip on s upgradation

Man, never go to Apple auto. They are horrible people.
Advaith Suzuki is very close to Apple. That's a good place.
Another is in Rajajinagar, Sapthagiri Suzuki.
