    Thanks for ur feedback guys!!!

Tubeless tyre has its own advantages also i believe... Maybe there are so many variants out there in the market...
Today i had a phone chat with akfara, he suggest me to consider Ceat Vertigo... But the funniest part is that in Vertigo also there are sub models
Sing GS is a macho looking bike, a big tyre on it looks cool...
But at the same time, i don't want to spend too much changing the rim...
Up to what size i can accommodate in our present rim???

Don't just say what ever you feel right!!! Why do all the high performance cars and bikes have tubeless tire? Just think for yourself. The above mentioned problem will happen if it had tubeless, tubed or any other tires, its not the tire to blame.

u said that i have a small built not true i weigh less thats all iam 6 ft now is that seen as a small built are people 7 or 8 foot normally these days?about that license and insurance,i dont care ill get licence in 2011! untill then ill avoid traffic cops,i am a safe rider all the time! its just 20 km going and 20-km coming back besides there arent any cops in the way!
Take it cool, by built i meant you are lean you took it in the wrong sense. You said you weigh only 52 that too with 5 11". If by any chance you got involved in any accident without license you dad will be in trouble.

I'm waiting for your decision about changing to tubeless, currently I dont have any plan to change tires, but I want to know the details. Our GS will become real macho if given tires of P220( 120/80, 17").

AFAIK MRF zapper is giving 18" tubeless tires which will be a direct fit. All other tubeless tires available are 17" tires. Many have suggested not to go for bigger tires, if you are not satisfied with grip just go for softer tires of same make like Michelin, Ceat etc.

The other concern is about the drive chain and sprocket. I have heard that if we go for a bigger tire you need to change the chain and sprocket.

It looks more appealing and Macho(Personal opinion )

              • Guys, i tried taking my gs for a ride today. (after 12 days of not riding)
                Horrible experience..

Firstly i kicked like 50 times, just wouldnt start(with choke too). then finally it started, idled for a min and when i put to 1st gear it turned off again

I kicked another 50 times or so to get it running again, tried button start but the battery is dead,(the console just resets when i press the button , is that normal for battery to die out completely in 12 days or should i ask them to change it because this must be the 5th time in 9 months that my battery died !)

Anyway, when i started riding i noticed vibrations on the foot rest, handle bar and tank.. much more than before the accident..
(gear shifting was more or less ok though)

And lastly, i rode for around 7kms, the engine was clearly overheated.. i usually dont feel the heat when my legs are at the footrest but today i could feel it

I'm giving it for servicing tomorrow, what do you think will be the cause of the vibrations after the accident ?
also, is it normal for the chrome part of the silencer to get heated up(old model), i didnt notice before but i think it used to stay cool, today it was hot too, couldnt touch it also.

I have tubeless tyre on my rear wheel... same MRF zapper as stock. in size too... no prob till now.. but i dont feel any disadvantage... just to avoid myself pushing a heavy bike... i changed to tubeless... in my riding exp i never experienced front tyre puncher(all my bikes in past- arnd 10 years) .. so changed rear alone.

our rim is 18" there are lot of options available for 18". Ceat vertigo is good too... if you have any doubt about tyres.. go to universal theard-- tyres... Mr. Go Green will help you with that...

i never exp this issue... if you know that you not gonna use the bike for sometime.. then try following storage procedure given in our manual.

Better change the battery... i always try to start my bike morning with kick only... my bike starting in one kick.. and at times i will also feel the vibes... its better to start the bike run in idle for 1-2 mins.. then ride in average rpm for about 2-3 kms.. then race.

i was busy with work... no times at all... last sunday i went to my native in my bike... 160 kms up and down... awesome trip. engine was very smooth.. return journey was cool even.. as i came in direction with wind.. pick up and top speed for amazing.. i was able to cruise at 90 kmph. Guys you shd really try gulf oil... (im not working for gulf) from my exp its good to use in our bike

@akf... i replied to ur message... dont trust SC guys..

May be some loose parts remained untreated after accident....
U had a mileage problem rite??
The SC people would have closed the carb's air screw too much to attain max mileage, thats why all choking problem...

                              It is in Porur...
Mr. Kalyan is very co-operative and responsible too.
He always used to have his set of mechanics and co-ordinates the job very well..
In ABT Mr. Satish does a good job, no issues with him, but in his absence, things go up side down.. Secondly, at ABT, too much of politics, so at times the SC guys won't be in a good mood. The result is reflected as poor service...
@ SMK, the employs are much happier and Mr. Kalyan knows how to manage them..

Last time when i left my bike @ ABT, Service head was on leave, i believe only my bike was washed & Teflon coated. My issues remained.. Swing arm was also not lubricated(Squeaking Sound), Disk not corrected, Tappet noise...

Today also i spoke to kalyan, infact he called me back due to lack of signal in his area.. He is actually on leave and had asked me to bring the vehicle on thursday

All this are my personal experience when i had to wait long for mileage tuning...

firstly, thanks for the quick replies
I didnt have mileage problem but i had asked them to tune it because i was getting 47..
That could be the reason. normally my bike starts in the first kick too, this is the first time that i've struggled so much.

My bike wasnt treated after the accident actually. it was at home all these days..
I'll go tomorrow and tell them..

By the way, the handle bar weights(the metal cap at the end of handle bar) and chrome parts of silencer which got scratched in the accident have got rusted.. the scratched parts are completely brown now
The brake lever is steel i guess, it didnt get rusted.

I'm giving it for servicing tomorrow anyway, i'll tell them all the points..

Update: i gave my bike for servicing, that person said i have to change oil this time since its been 2 services..
i told i'll change later as i want to use petronas FS oil.. he just said no problem, get the bottle and come soon and we'll change it
But i'm going to change after 25th due to exams.
