      • Thanks MSN any way the nitrogen air hear is sheer blackmail 75bucks for inflating both the tires i will rather go with normal Air and fill it up 10days gap. Any way wanted to know what should be the Tyre pressure since i mostly ride solo occasionally taking my mom with me twice a week max should i keep the Tyre at Pillion Settings given? What does a inflating the tyres with pressure given for driving with a pillion do if i drive solo?

Lol , here its Rs.50 for a tire may be higher but not less

In my opinion you should fill the tires for pillion riding, 25psi in front and 33psi in rear. Many people have suggested to fill 10% more than recommended one to get more mileage. I haven't really done it, if you are riding solo most of time then go for middle value of 31 instead of 29 and 33. It will be still advantageous......

In BA series light starts to flicker below 2K rpm. Did you noticed when it starts to flicker? Head light and pilot lamps are powered from alternator which in turn is powered from crankshaft, so it will flicker when engine rpm drops down below a certain point.

Put the bike in center stand and rev slowly, you will know when it becomes steady. Just curious to know when it stops flickering in new CA series RR unit.

RR unit was CA series, but when i looked at carburetor it said "Padmini" ,I expected it to be "Mikuni"( Is that any Indian version?). The electric start had a different casing, new sporty silencer cover( it seemed a little small ).

Now going for looks, no Suzuki sticker in the windshield, and no logo in handle bar. Only Suzuki sticker was near the tail end. Now guys this one worried me the most, when I opened the tank, saw a tint of rust at the mouth of tank.

                      Update

Got the bike back from sc after getting the repairs done due to the accident.
now the bike is not smooth at all.. the vibes hav increased, the front fairing and speedo rattles while going thru bad roads, the front brake lost its bite, mileage has fallen to 45 from 58(wil check again)...

The full front fairing, indicators, tank, mirrors, right side switch gears, crash guard, right rear panel were changed.
The fork was bent (it was straightened not replaced) and i think the disc has a slight bend as well.
The only good news is that power has increased (i dont know how).
I guess you wont get the fit and finish of a new bike from the factory if its tampered by human hands after all.

I have inquired about the screw loose sound to them. They said that the engine of gs is pure aluminium not alloy like other bikes and its sound changes as temprature increases and its only normal to hear the screw loose sound. So i asked him to show me that sound on another bike. He started a customers bike (engin was hot and it was the 2010 model. Owner told its 5 days old) and the same sound was there. I dont know if all gs has this or its a common problem.Maybe hes right about the all aluminium engine.
Rider turned driver, aspiring to ride again.

Now I will start having done only 50Kms i will not put too many words in my mouth yet. Engine Sound what is that Actually i believe every Vehicle has it's own sound And this has it as well though I feel this is a bit More Responsive in throttle and Refinement that the 09 model i test rode, also the gears are harder in my GS since it is knew but today morning i switched the gears when it was in center stand to check to my surprise the gears were smooth maybe probably it was cold start or maybe the initial few kms have done some good. So no comments on the Gears for now.

Coming to Head lights sorry didn't check them up but As soon as i went above the idling RPM the Flickering stopped i mean as soon as i moved my throttle don't know if it is due to CA series or Not since I couldn't see the 09 model Head lights throw.

Now Coming to Carb I didn't notice it will see it today the silencer is fine They have reduced it but the quality of the part is very good compared to last one since i noticed some visible Deterioration in the 09 model which had done just 3kms.

The Suzuki sticker is still there in the windshield and Suzuki logo in handlebar.

One thing i actually noted the big difference from the 09 model when you shift gears that is continuously from 6th gears to almost 2nd or 1st the gear is not getting stuck this i tried in 09 model and it stuck at 3rd gear .

The gear shift i above am telling i tested this yesterday in my friends 09GS after Anup told this can be a issue.

Overall Marginal Improvements on a Good GS to make it better

p.s Good thing a SVC is coming up next to my place from this june just 10 min away

So All East Delhi Guys the new SVC will be located in Sec 5 or 6 Noida And will start from 1st or 2nd week of june

A Big Help can anybody tell me if i am going to Clean the Bike with running Water does the Console have any issues with cleaning with Water?

The new silencer cover looked very glossy. But I felt the former one gave a big silencer feeling. That visible deterioration is caused by pillions stepping on it. Last week I gave a ride to my sister, she didnt bother to use the foot pegs . When i saw the it, it made me cry

The Suzuki sticker is still there in the windshield and Suzuki logo in handlebar.

My neighbor's bike didn't had them.

When you ride for some time, gears will expand a little and may get stuck. That's why I mentioned to make it a habit to blip the throttle and release the clutch on every shift

That wont be a problem, but in my opinion its better to use a wet cloth. Don't ever use dry cloth, it will scratch the surface. After cleaning with a wet cloth, you can use another clean dry cloth(soft cloth) to give a shiny appearance. There should be some sort of moisture when you wipe with a cloth.

S.C people don't do proper Teflon coating. Often they would just do some waxing and say its Teflon. It would be better if you find a reliable polisher. The best would be to do a polymer coating with warranty. My neighbor did a polymer coating worth Rs. 750, scratch resistant with 3 year warranty.
