Felix and Maestro have given answers to many of your questions. On riding up hill its necessary to downshift and maintain the rpm well above 5k mark so that it have power to pull the bike up. If you keep the bike in 5th gear and start to open the throttle midway bike wont accelerate no matter how much you open the throttle or downshift. If the entry to up hill is fast choose 5th gear, ride it with rpm above 5K rpm and just as it comes to 4.5K mark shift to 4th gear this make the rpm above 5K rpm and again when it comes to 4.5 mark shift to lower gear. And remember to blip the throttle to increase the engine rpm before you let go off clutch so that gear shifts become smoother. By following methods your bike wont knocks(cries) on uphill. If it still cries after following these you will need to set the tuning a little to the richer side.

    • ^ anup you might find this hard to belive, during the tristate g2g, i hardly did some shifting on the twisties, Only up shifting to keep up with the group. 5>6<5>6.. thats torque man.

No doubt you are the Real Mr.Tony Stark with the Billionaires Fortune !!!!!!!
So where is the Iron Man suit ??? or is the GSR that you are trying to convert to a Mech-suit ???

        Jokes apart

People I really need some suggestions about fitting the 4300K HID on my bike.
Can I put it on stock electrical set-up..........come on,does it it really matters if I put my HID on AC set-up??? The 4300K is also a 35W HID afterall !!!!
Please explain me,how to do the HID on my GSR.........I am really dumb at electricals !!!

          • ^ thanks anup and MACH 50. Its 1000 kms. for Mineral. If you have the luxury you can change it every hundrer kms also :P

If Tony Stark = Iron Man + $$$ +Albert einstein + Gals, I'm Tony stark minus the Money and babes I have a metal plate inside me so im half wolverine and iron man.. LOL .. Sorry for OT.

YOu cant plonk a HID to a GS directly. HID is DC,wheras GS Headlight is AC. PM me for details.

EDIT: No offence, but the Classic 500's torque is Much much higher than what will ever need in your life. YOu can Tow a half laden bus on a Plain road with a 500's torque But for the 150 CC class, the gs is quite respectable

Yeah our bike do have ample torque, but below 4K rpm with a pillion on an uphill what method can I suggest other than the one explained earlier. And also Suzuki provided with 6 speed gear system. If we make use of the short gearing system we can outperform any other 150 cc's. Let me ask this bro do all the G2G's ride in such high speeds, when i went through the posts of Tristate G2G read a post like someone overtook a ZMR doin 120 on a RTR160. Such high speeds maintained for long distances is very stressful to engine na.

Man you took my comment literally !!!!
At 149kgs and 13.5 Nm torque.....its like an Enfield, thats all I meant to say !!!!
But also with 13.8bhp from 150cc power its far from being Enfield like.
GSR is bling fast and torquey too !!!!!! This is the smallest Suzuki Bking

                        • Hmm, FZ has the highest torque figure(14Nm) in 150 cc and being 10 kgs lower than GS what should we call it? Even with the figures we need to consider the engine rpm in which the torque is produced, bullets produce torque in lower rpm but our bikes produce torque in higher rpm. Producing torque in higher rpm is always advantages as we can use the gearing to increase the torque in lower rpm and can increase the BHP ( bhp =torque*rpm*constant) with more engine revs and hence top speed.

So even for fun, they cannot be compared as they are totally different class.

PS: Sorry for OT, but I think this will be informative.

What ??? R15 replicates R1,FZ16 replicates FZ1.................FZ1 is a bad ass torquemeister, thats what FZ16 is...but it doesnt puts power down that way and slower by 0.20secs than the GSR.GSR is more similar to the mighty Bking in these terms though !!!!

To tell you the truth,,,,,XTP on Suzuki bikes is meant for making huge torque at lower RPMS.Our GSR infact has superb pick-up in two zones 4000rpm-6100rpm in gears till 4th.The next is 7000rpm till redline..........in the 4th,5th and 6th gears.
GSR is a high revving bike so the rpms have to be higher for even low end torque otherwise, carburetor wont spray the fuel needed to build up the torque.

The versatile GS150R has infact all three types or torque.....Good Low range,High Mid range and even Better High end Power and torque.

Why are you still trying to contact Suzuki? Is there any complaint about service quality?
Sure there is always hiccups in service quality ,In my city(town) there are 2 sub dealer for pulsars ,one of them are new ,They have separate outlet for spares, even they have spares for old models till now..
After sales is the drawback for suzuki compared to honda..... Ask for a small rubber bush u get answer," no stock we will order for u"
In my previous pulsar 2003 dtsi i have no issue of service, even they are sub dealer.....
