I have Tubeless on my rear wheel alone. Its ths same MRF Zapper-Y 100/90 18" 56p as stock. Just tubeless. It costed 1950+150(valve) in chennai. I think you can go to MRF shop in pune to getyour tyre changed. There are not much tubeless options in terms of pattern/thread. Even MRF introduced 18" tubeless two months back.Originally posted by nav75 View Post

61 is a lot what is cost of normal Petrol 54 or 55?
Here Delhi Xtra premium costs 50.11 something not more. Delhi does has advantage even i am waiting for Shell in Delhi. These guys are Good and Honest i know petrol bunks that cheat clearly in Delhi.
I fill up petrol only in 1 Bunk Which is run my father of a Martyr Army men.
Very honest and due to this It has one of the longest ques but i don't mind waiting if you get what you pay for.
MRF Zapper-Y 100/90 18 Tubeless hmm
Michelin Will raise the height further i suppose will look for CEAT else go for MRF Zapper Tubeless.
And this 1950 Cost after you gave ur Old tires?
I gave my old tires and got like 200-300 Rs less when i changed my Honda Eterno tires.I am thinking of changing these stock tires immediately.Tubless is the way to go

Hi Rajesh,
If you are talking about my avatar pic, its not of a GS 150 R. It's the console of GSX R 1000 superbike. Anyway those LED's are factory fitted on the bike
. Now that's why we call the GS the "Baby Gixxer". Many of the design concept for GS is inspired from the GSX R 1000.

is Unicorns tires smaller "17" or is it "18" also?
Also i couldn't Find Suzuki in the make when i was searching in CEAT website though they have the 18 one's but still there are two tires one is Vertigo Rage and other Vertigo SportLast edited by adi231189; 04-19-2010, 05:21 PM.

hmm i heard MRF are pretty bad in Wets. That is what i scaring me going for MRF Tubeless again.CEAT i don't know much i just checked their site it had 2 Choice Vertigo Rage and Sports.Originally posted by rajesh1136 View PostOh yes. I thgought u mod the bike

Don't know which will fit fine on these asking this because i am going to change tires immediately.Though i have got trust in MRF but the MRF Y tend to have less grip in Wets and though Commonwealth games are being held in delhi Still their are lots of areas where Tarmac is not the only way to go through
Any way since GS has kindered me too much i am thinking of going for a test drive on 27th itself before my exams get over.
But on 2nd thought i thought i should get some practice of putting gears in my friends apache first so that test drive is more efficient and results are neutral and not flawed due to my driving skills

Hello friends,
Today I serviced my bike (7th paid service) @ 10150Kms on the ODO... A month back I was thinking of changing the engine oil. For the last 200 Kms, the bike has become very smooth than previously...
and last 2 weeks, were awesome as I touched 10K kms ....... So I decided not to change the oil... I guess the engine parts takes some time to mate and I think we need to wait till 10 Kms befoer changing the oil.... Probably I'll think of changing some time later but now I'm enjoying my ride....
Cost: Labour charges 240 and Oil 220 and some taxes.... total Rs. 520
I bought my bike in pallavaran Jain Suzuki but since I stay at Besasnt nagar, I gave my bike for service in SMK Suzuki in Velachery road,(near Halda Junction). The SC guy was not that friendly but the mechanic was.... I had some problem in the rear chain sproket and I was explaining it to the guy and he understood it well....
Now I have one question. He said that the components which wears out is not covered under warranty
... Is it true.?? My chain was giving some kind of sound and the mechanic said the sproket was altered for now, if required will be changed in the next service. He also said it'll not be covered in warranty (since I've covered 10K Kms).??? can anybody help.

I recently changed my rear tyre to ceat vertigo sport. The price is 1300 without tube. You would probably get it for less in delhi. This tyre is very good for riding in wet and muddy conditions. So if little bit of offroading is in your mind, go for it. In case you would ride mostly in delhi, my suggestion would be to try the stock tyres for few thousand kms as tyres dont provide the maximum grip when its new. Tyres also needs to goes through break in period as the engine. After that you wish to change you can change. Raj.Originally posted by adi231189 View Postkk Any body knows cost of CEAT Vertigo.

Thanks adi231189 & rajesh for your wishes.....
Rajesh, I bought my bike in ABT nandanam, When I was booking the bike in last week they were not received the new graphics sticker. So i end up booking the old one...
But today i saw the all new GS150R in the showroom.... There was no much change in the design only difference is the colour of the sticker they use in the latest bike and the silencer design.. I noticed the rectifier/regulator in the latest bike has xxxxCA series... (dont know whether they have improved any thing )
I drove the bike from showroom to my home.... It was a wonderful exprience, engine was really soo smooth and the control is excellent...When i was in kathipara bridge, i felt like flying in the sky

@adi231189
The Zapper Y is a really bad tyre for wet surface & even on tarmac if you hard brake, there are chances of skidding. See if you can find Michelins in Delhi, I am quite sure there are some official dealers out there. I had a 4.00 X 18 M45 at the rear & it had good grip on wet & tarmac, because it is a soft compound tyre.GS has rear tyre size as 100/90/18, so you can use 110/90/18 or something like 4.00 X 18..
The only downside is, a soft compound tyre has less life than a hard compound. If driven sanely,it could last close to 15k kms. Also they dont come in tubeless(TL).All Michelins are tube type tyres.
If you want to go to TL,you can check other tyre brands like Pireli, Vee rubber, Duro.Again these are all soft compund tyres so the road grip will be very good, but the life is short.
