Hi Guys, after a long discussion and few test rides on other bikes, I decided to go with TNT 300, booked it, white color, will be getting before 16th or 18th, thank you for all the info shared so far, it was a hard decision, after testing R3, Ninja.. but I just want this masterpiece with me.. I asked the showroom guy about the service interval, they are still following the company guideline which is 4K kms.. its gonna be daily commuting from 18th onwards around 50kms per day, and I have to park outside my office, any recommendations ?? cover or PPF on tank..

Congrats for Booking the beauty, it will give you smile every time you ride it. As white colour will attract more attention install frame sliders and tank protector to be on safer side.

                Hi guys!

Today, I dropped my B3 at the SVC (Bangalore) for its 2nd service after 4 months and 2.8K on the odo.

The guy at the SVC wrote down a huge ₹3200 as the labor charge. I'm concerned this is inflated. Can someone here give me an idea about their B3's 2nd service?

Any inputs from y'all are much appreciated.

                Regards,
                Sultan

They charge you as per sound of the bike. More sound, more ₹₹ in bill. Each Bennelli is unique, so the bill varies too. If you argue with them why one part of the bill is higher than the other, they will increase the lower amount so you will be happy. [emoji23]

Jokes aside, please read the whole Bennelli 300 thread. Twice. The relationships are loving and the memories eternal, but the ownerships' surprisingly temporary.

They charged me ₹2400 for labor, and total cost of 2nd (paid) service was ₹3211 because no oil change.

I'm kinda feeling really bad. I see and hear that a lot of B3 owners are selling off their bikes after around 1 ~ 2 years of usage. Even the SVC center folks were telling the same.
Reason: huge maintenance cost as compared to the KTM and Yamaha.

And these guys who own KTM/Yamaha, make me feel like as if my B300 is nothing great and that's why folks are selling em off!

The issue here is, the bikes are not manufactured in India, if they are, u wouldn't be having such a expensive bike to maintain, even tho they are manufactured in China which is a nearby country, its still not CKD.

TNT 300 is CKD bike right? If CKD, parts cost is on higher side as compared to other bikes. In other thread I saw TNT25 chain sprockets cost is around 7k which is too much for single cylinder 250cc bike.

Guys normal service cost is 2100 plus taxes where as 4th and 7th service cost I believe is the costliest it is 2700 plus taxes.I can understand if the bike is not manufactured in India it's parts would be on the higher side but why the labour charges too high. I don't even complain about the labour charges also but service interval should be minimum 6 months or 6000 kms which ever is higher.I have a friend of mine who has a CBR 650F whose service charges including oil and labour is around 3500 only. So guys if you are ready to spend more than 5K on every service go ahead and own this beautiful machine

hey bro i undestand that service cost is high, if its with oil change, but the thing im worried why are they charging 2000rs for changing oil and doing basic stuffs, is it because its a italian brand, and they have base price for labor charges ?? i just paid full amount for my bike, and ill be getting within 20th of this month, i asked the showroom guy why they dont follow 6K mark for fully synthetic oils, he replied that DSK on higher end have such plans, ive contacted one guy from thailand, he said for them its kinda different.. but he said he will ask and let me know about their country service intervals... hmm.. but anyways its gna be my daily commuting bike, so lets have fun for timebeing..

Frame sliders are an extra. You get the Benelli ones from SVC for 4000 bucks for the 300. At least that was the price when I bought it. I bought the first one in Bangalore.

3200 is too much. Highest General Service charge is 2700 plus taxes for 4th and 8th service. Rest are lower. You have any doubt, get on their head ... SVCs try to fleece people who don't have much idea.

SVC guys do not like the fact that we discuss svc costs and stuff in whatsapp and these forums. :P

I have asked the same question to the head of support and services when i met him in Bangalore and Pune. They are like we are looking into that option but no change of plans as of now.
