opened throttle quickly - in 3rd gear- felt for a couple of seconds as if the bike engine had stopped- after pulling back the throttle, things became normal. No idea why this actually happened.
Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

As per my requirements I find four bikes comfortable, but each one has its own drawbacks.

      1) RE thunderbird.. Cheap pricing and quality... Not exotic, has become as common as pulsars but not as practical as a pulsar.
      2) triumph ... My first choice.. Too expensive and too heavy.. when not on the move and in traffic. Beautiful Brit bike... classy
3)Dominor..Somehow I find it a grown up pulsar ... nothing exiting about it. (It almost looks and feels like my current NS200 with more torque and weight..Not a fan of the gizmos and etc..
      4) 300.. Not a great fan of its looks... Not sure about the maintenance cost as it sounds shocking ... But find it reasonable and usable for those weekends. And can afford it easily as of now.
Anyway not planning to buy until financial year end. So will keep fingers crossed.

You may also check Yamaha FZ25. Decent looks, well torqued and efficient mileage too ... Also its Yamaha you can count for..

Guys today I noticed two problem in my 300 first right side front fork oil leak and second oil coming out from the coil cover nut. When thought of checking the oil nut I found out it to be broken. The quality of the nut is so pathetic you can't imagine even the Hero splendor had got better quality nut than 300. Nut used in Benelli is made of plastic with chrome coated to make it look like steel nut.

Did any one of you had faced the similar problem specially any fork oil leakage and what was the exact repair charges???

Stock sounds amazing enough for a 300, but this one with aftermaket surely is music to my ears!

Guys I had observed that Benelli owners are selling off their bikes in a very short span of time, you can see highest no bikes on resale in olx is either Benelli/HD Street or Hyosung. What could be the reasons for so many bikes put on sale

Mainly because of maintenance costs. DSK should change service interval atleast to 6k kms or 6 months which will also result in increase in their sales.

I have the same thing on my CBR it looks like it's made of plastic for a reason.

And about the selling off, well, once people get used to the sound and the looks of the bike, the service costs start hurting. The Bennelli brand doesnt have the snob value of Ducati or BMW for people to keep paying huge service costs every 4 months. The 4 year warranty is another good business generator for DSK. I just hope nobody bought a Bennelli on a loan, that would be sadness.

Same is the problem with my bike bro. There is a knock while i shift from 3rd to 4th gear. So I've given my bike to the svc to sort the problem. Also my engine sounds differently from other 300s. I left my vehicle on Monday. Hoping for the best.

My friend got his 600i serviced last week and he did asked them about increase in service schedules but they said it's still 4k kms/4 months.

Other owners can confirm about this thing.

People who are wondering about pros, cons, serviceability, cost of ownership of the Benellis both 300 and 600, please Google. You have lots of videos out there, which detail, the cost of ownership, price, pros, cons, from an owners perspective. This gives you broad scope w.r.t the overall liveability of the motorcycle. You have lots of nice videos from different people ranging a wide scope, explaining in good detail.

Overall the verdict isn't that great, it's lukewarm, but people do love the bike.

                              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              THE END
