Congrats Suresh ... Welcome to the Benelli Family.

This was exactly why I did not test ride the 600i till I had bought the 300 to my house :P

So i got my bike serviced this tuesday (20000 km).Just the regular stuff. The bike has been running without any problems till now.
Yesterday night took the bike for a spin.stopped at a signal and thats when i looked at the temp gauge. Its reading 97°c and the
fan isnt kicking in.Switched off the bike and restarted it but the fan dosent start.Thankfully there wasn't any traffic and i was around 20 kms from my home.during this time the maximum temperature would have reached around 100°c.
Today morning got the bike to the service cente.turns out a[emoji232](mouse) had cut the radiator fan wire.
Lesson leart: be sure of where you park the bike.
The wiring involved in these bikes is quite a bit and tracing it can take a lot of time and effort.thankfully my issue got resolved.

Rats are a menace... Specially in basement parking.... U get this spray with u can apply on the under side if vehicles to avoid rats. Try that if the issue is regular.

Hello guys, can anyone suggest a good rear tyre for my 300. Clocked just 5000+ odd kms. Already got 2 punctures. Am completely driving within the city. So will wait for another 2 more punctures, then change the tyre, which may occur soon. Am not in a metro city, so i need to plan in advance for my trye. My liking are sticky tyres due to gripness. But practically I travel 85% within the city. So need a better rubber to avoid those easy punctures. Thanks in advance.

All these are soft compound tyres and complete city usage will lead to punctures. If you want only city usage, then please go for little hard compound.

Yes, you are correct. Little hard compound. What tyres are available in hard compound? Suggest any brand and model please

Hey guys, what’s the per service costs of TNT 300 are like with happy savings plan? And could anyone compare it with 600i?
vnsk: Since you’ve recently got 600i maybe you can help me in comparing these prices. I am getting a deal at the price of 300 so I am thinking about it. Thanks

Service costs for happy savings plan depends on place, number of service to be included in plan.
Can't comment on 600i HSP cost but for 300 in pune its approximate 9k (for 2, 3 and 4th service with oil change only for 3rd service).

Currently they have stopped offering HSP in pune.

Thanks for your reply. So this includes all the consumables as well, right? I think then that’s pretty decent. I wonder why people whine about service costs.

PS: After Chandigarh Benelli (which closed shop in 2016). Jalandhar Benelli is rumored to be closing shops as well. I called them today for test ride of the bikes to which they said “Saar, the manager has quit the job and there is no one here” the person on the phone was the receptionist. She took my number and promised to call me.

I tried reaching out to Benelli-India but they are not responding over Facebook. Any idea where can I reach them?

Yes. It includes consumables and part replacement as per service manual (spark plugs, air filter and so on) (wear and tear parts not included). Although it is pretty decent, if your running is high and if oil goes bad you will need to replace your oil as HSP includes oil change only once in 3 service.

I have no clue about Benelli-India may be other people here can help. But as per my knowledge, Benelli itself will manage things in india. They are currently sorting out things with DSK. It will take some time for this transition to take place. They have currently stopped sales and new lot will only arrive in may first week. I am also waiting for the new chain sprocket set. Hope this thing will get sorted soon.

I had taken the bike which was yet to complete the 2nd service. I wanted to take the 6 service package which costs 26.8 k. But unfortunately I could not since it seems you hae to register 2 weeks BEFORE the actual service is due. So I paid 6.1 k for the 2nd service. The service manager though was very helpful, said to call him one month before the 3rd service and he will give the 6 service package from 3rd one but there will be slight change in the cost. The actual cost of 6 service from 2nd sevice is around 43.5 k if you do it individually. This means it will cost you average 7.7 k and if you take the package it will cost average 4.4 k . This is a huge saving and really worth it

I have a point to be updated here. They do oil change every alternate service, technically every 8000kms. But do note, they used Motul 7100 10W50 in such case, which is capble of handling 10000kms also. In normal service without AMC/HSP they are using Motul 5100 which is recommended to be replaced in 4000kms. Atleast this is what is being done in Bangalore SVC and yes over all AMC plans have reduced ownership costs by close to 50 % now. I am happy about that.
