    But that price hike was there from early 2016 if i remember well.

    If the hike was from late 2016 then one more reason to assume R3 is BS4 already.

      The R3 was always Bs4. I had a chat with Yamaha customer care last day. One guy called and said the delay in bike is due to updating from bs3 to bs4. Another guy told it was bs4 right from when it was launched and the delay was because of some other reasons. Yamaha should clearly hire someone who really knows what they speak out. Horrible horrible they are at customer service to be honest.

Had a chance to sit on R25, and it felt home, though i felt the seat height is a tiny bit lower for my likings but its super comfortable. I think R3 has also the same ergonomics as R25. Planning to book in June, since currently i am out of town. I hope everything goes fine financially and would get the BS4 model.

        @all :
        Is there any way we can attach pillion grab rails.? google, didnt help. Checked the MT03's rail, but it needs the rear cowl to be changed which is not possible in India.
        I'm using Aliexpress one, it's not a perfect fit but it works.

              it maybe a risk paper work wise. The rule was that the bike had to be invoiced prior to April 1 and could be registered after April 1. Am sure the svc might have found a way around this (like maybe billing it on someone else's name yesterday).. So you might end up as 'second' owner. But whatever it is just check throughly with them regarding how they are getting the paper work done before paying a penny

                  Getting a good deal is a luck indeed. But make sure the bike isn't a test ride bike; i.e. look for changes in tire tread pattern, any scratches near the heel guards. If you're getting a good deal for new bike, I'd say go for it, but make sure you do your homework before that.

                  Cheers!

                  Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

                  And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                            Hi all,

                            Iam just wondering what is the minimum speed we can keep on 4th, 5th and 6th gear without engine lugging.?

                            Just want to know how will it be in city ride.

                            Thanks.

                                Actually i need the approximate kmph number.
                                For my typical city cruising, i need to know how far it could handle the traffic without needing frequent gear shift.
                                My Hunk due to short gear can go 26kmph in 5th gear and hence i dont do much gear shift. For sure R3 would be different, but i just want to know the comparative figure.
