        I called Vinayak Yamaha Domlur, Bangalore and they say that I need to go to MRF to get it checked.

        They refuse to take any responsibility WTF

          Same issue here, The other day a small piece of glass pierced into my rear tyre. Got it removed since it didn't penetrate fully.
          Are the tyres comes under warranty? Even if they do, the SVC/Dealers are least bother. We have to shell out our moolah.

              Yes with the new MRF I then traded in with a michelin dealer n nw with michelin tyres

                Stuff like battery and tires are usually warranted by the respective manufacturer, but the svc is supposed to help out in claiming this warranty. As we all know most svc's wont simply do it

                Good, and also put in an email with these links and proofs. Only when you put these complaints down in writing, will you have a chance at getting them sorted out.

                They don't honor warranty if you have a puncture or foreign objects embedded in the tire.
                If you folks want a tire with similar to better grip but more importantly a tire that doesn't get knicked, punctured or damaged easily, get a pair of michelin radials in the same size. They are a bit expensive but good, the rear 140 costs around 5800rs IIRC.

                  I am game for the michelin's, if these things are going to happen later on. I don't want to push around the 169kg giant in case of a tyre failure. For a total of ~10K, at least it will give me peace of mind I think.

                    Then close your eyes and get the Michelin 140 radial on the rear, as for the front if it's a 110 then get the duke's mrf.. Excellent tire for front. Overall this combo will set u back by around 8600rs.
                    There is also a cheaper 140 Michelin which is not a radial but a bias ply model. I've seen it on a couple of dukes and their owners were pretty ok with that. I personally have driven a Duke with a 140 Michelin radial as well as my own bike that runs the 150 Michelin radial and am a happy chap. Not a single ding knick or puncture in 8k km. The stock mrf on Duke though had good grip levels but was prone to small Knicks and punctures. The 4th puncture at 14k km left the tire unusable and I had to change the tire.

                      Hi Guys,
                      After the recall, I'm experiencing unusual engine heating even after 15 mins at normal traffic. Though the temp bar do not exceed 3 , but I can feel the heat in my legs. Is this because of old engine oil? Or they messed up in changing the oil sump assembly. Here is the pic of my current oil level. Does this looks good or dirty? Any pointers?

                        Did they use the old oil? They are supposed to use new oil for the recall since it is also free in this case.
                        There would be some amount of coolant loss also in this process which they should reuse or refill from new one as per your choice.
                        Yamalube changes color to black very fast and can't judge by the color, just need to ensure that they have used the necessary quantity.
                        2 litre (2 bottle) min if you have not changed oil filter.

                          I'm still at 720km with pending 1st service. I have not changed the oil filter. I did a mistake by not asking about whether they have used new oil or not. The SVC is located quite far and I'm unable to visit in weekdays.
                          I have checked the coolant level and it is at recommended level.
                          Should I wait till my 1st service to replace the oil (if not changed) or go ahead and change it before itself? Did you noticed any such issue?

                            I did not have this issue. But my friend who done the recall before me also used the old oil first but I called him to come with me and told them to change to new oil to him also because that should have done. He did the next day of his recall with my recall day. Anyhow he also faced overheating issue and the bike heated upto 4 bars very fast and also be faced other issues like it did not start and thrown errors like code 19. For him I think the svc might have messed up something else. Now after several troubleshooting, they had to replace the ECU for him. Now no issues for him.

                              Thanks..! To be frank I'm a bit tensed. So I guess I should be able to complete 1000km with this little heat issue? The reason I am asking this so many time because, before the recall, it was less as compared to now so was a bit sceptical.
                              Anyways, as you said I would be changing the oil at 1st service. And need to be patience till then

                                Oil needed after recall is 2.4L. And coolant may appear full but will go down once engine is started. It needs to be filled again and then the fairing should be put back. I saw it happening. So please get both checked
