I agree. Though i like to keep the low beam on during day, i don't. Reason is our cops, if they see a bike with headlight ON, they will definitely stop it and we'll have to explain the whole thing about safety and new rules etc... etc.. which i don't like.

And what about the new V2? does it also come with this feature?

i love the way CBR150R self checks, turn the key and the speedo lights up instantly and the needle does a fast swing. I think the cbr's self check is 2 times faster than the r15, maybe even more The engine and electronics are far superior in cbr, r15 has better chassis and suspensions.

Some people commented its unnecessary but in the long run it helps. Replaced with motul 7100 10w40 today with engine flush with a different procedure. There will be lots of difference of opinion so i am not going to tell what i did. After the flush and new fs oil its just so smooth like feather. Crispy throttle response.
So I have to say to SVC guys that I'm getting low mileage?

This is bad if they didn't replace the current battery with a bigger one or that it'll recharge quickly. Don't know what was Yamaha thinking but at least they should have let the pilot lamps turn on when the keys are turned on and lights when engine is started. And don't know why the government prioritized AHO headlights than ABS.

Today had a minor accident in my apartment complex. When I was about to leave from the compound, a kid on his cycle just came out of nowhere and I was taking a turn that time. Had to stand on my brakes to avoid hitting him, I was just starting, so was riding under 20kmph. Unfortunately, there was mud all over the place and bike skid.

The left side of the faring has scratches on it. Wanted to know, what would be the replacement cost for it, does it always come in pair for replacing or can the left side alone be replaced ?

Yes, the new V2 has it too.

I don't know if the electronics are far more superior on the CBR, but Honda's PGMFI is quite famous. The switch gear is a huge let down though.

R15 excels over the CBR in many ways:

            1. Higher and more usable torque!
            2. More accessible power.
            3. Better tyres.
            4. Sealed chain.
            5. Better switch gear.

Thanks Bud. Yes I am all good. I will post them soon. What is the cost of the left side fairing alone ?

Has anyone got an aftermarket seat fixed on the stock seat. I believe stock seat is good only for city ride. On long rides my butt starts aching after 150 odd kms. Have been looking at two options that I came across. Ride on air and Redlineplus sofarider. Anyone got any feedback on them.

While I agree that the battery is on the smaller side but this is not Royal Enfield who are putting a mammoth battery in all their bikes but still most of users complain of battery dying within first few months even by using regular self start. That's not the logic here.

I've bought my R15-S in May and for first 3 months I'd been constantly running the 35W low beam bulb as my DRL (in day riding of course-duh) as well as my main light in night riding. I didn't notice any problem with my self start or any battery drain.

Since a month and a half, I'm running my low beam with upgraded 55W bulb all the times after 5-6PM or so, still no battery issues yet to appear. Of course I replaced my parking bulbs to small 1W LEDs to reduce load on battery because now I'm using 20W more all the times.

I don't think there's a need to worry here, Just my 2 cents.

                  Regards.

Guys wanted to know if the monoshock on our bikes is adjustable or not? I read somewhere that its not, mine seems too hard, like there is almost no sagging even when I sit on it and I weigh 70kg.

Is it just another thing I'll have to get used to? Or is it adjustable?

It can be turned slightly to make it softer/harder.

                      Ride safe and have fun.

Is it? I will have to check.
But it is slightly adjustable in fz, right?

First off congrats. Secondly, one little eenie meenie question from my side.

Did you care to ask your dealer why the right side of your fork bolt cap, is black in color and the left is silverish?

                            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I used to have the same problem as you but you will get used to it very quickly if the road is not too bad.

If the rectifier & alternator setup to charge the battery works properly and reliable, any bike won't have problem. As you said, battery size doesn't matters.
